Okay, since the current story line is all about madness, I thought it would be fun to review the type of madness each of their characters went through or are currently going through, or if they managed to maintain their relative sanity through out the story.

My PCs:

Sandy Bell - Actually, the healthiest of my characters at the moment, unless one considers her obsession with Volodja as unhealthy, with a fear that if she lets him out of her sight, she may never see him again.

Lady Christianna - Postpartum depression which led to delusions of grandeur (of course, with the Mistress of Judgment's help!)

Lena Marr - Once a sociopath, always a sociopath - or is she a psychopath?

Belle Starr - Anxiety disorder or panic attacks, which I was surprised I had her having in one of my earliest stories with her, so it's not a new thing but more acute now after all the stress caused by the love triangle she found herself in.

Erika Widowmaker - Depression over getting old and with what has happened to her family, both by blood and adoption, with a feeling of helplessness of being able to affect events, which this author can relate to in RL.

My NPCs:

Senator Cael - multiple personality disorder.

Kara - Recovering from Schizophrenia (which is different from multiple personality disorder - who knew!)

Micor Newlo - Oedipus Complex. LOL!

Mistress of Judgment - megalomania, which is a symptom of manic or paranoid disorder.

Broderick Smythe - I guess delusions when he was under the Omec control rod, or maybe just an inferiority complex caused by excessive nerdism. LOLX2!

Atticus Batman - Borderline Personality Disorder, Split personality disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Self-hatred, suicidal tendencies, extreme mood swings (especially bouts of excessive rage and anger) and depression, Suicidal and self-distructive thoughts and actions, paranoia

Kaj - Suicidal thoughts (although he is over it and genuinely wants to live now)

Chase Lonehart - Prior to Season 1: Excessive Guilt/Survivor Guilt (caused by the death of his father). Season 3: Retrograde amnesia due, long term condition due to damage to the left side of the hippocampus. Post-Season 3: Possible post-traumatic stress disorder, possible survivor's guilt, depression and possible suicidal tendencies.

My humble PC-s

Volodja Uljanov - constant distress because his mind works almost 24/7. Too much traumatic experiences he had in his past are the cause of his depression and survivors guilt as well. Plus he is torn apart between his pacifism and need to fight and kill.

Marcel Lestrange - megalomaniac, par excellence. Unfortunately for the rest of the world he actually works on making his dreams of power to come true. And that little obsession about being better than Volodja is not a big problem. It is not! Vous comprenez?!

Wolfram von Eschen - had traumatic breakdown when he was transferred into the brainwashing department to create killing machines while being aware that they become nervous wrecks because of the battle stress. Trauma lead him into alcoholism and agoraphobia. But Wolfram is actually recovering case. He still likes to drink but not getting drunk and his agoraphobia is gone. That little Goethe obsession of his is harmless.

Taffer might be developing a phobia of having a strong relationship with someone as all the girls he was in relationship with died too soon after.
