BACKGROUND - Born in San Diego,CA. He lived most of his childhood in Japan where his parents were English as a second language instructors. Trying to emulate the Tokusatsu superheroes he had discovered, Mark ended up getting into numerous fights at his primary school. Hoping to curb this misbehavior by instilling discipline, his parents enrolled him into a local martial arts school. This school was actually an Iga ninja-ryu where he trained for over 10 years to become a ninja.
Enlisting in the EMC at 18, he served as a Navy Corpsman attached to Marines during the last three years of the Pale Wars. His older brother, Jason, also served in the EMC as a tanker with the Iron Bulls. He died during the Battle of Defiance. Mark wears a Defiant Few Helm in his honor.
Mark lost his parents when the Arkfall struck Japan. His younger sister was also presumed lost.
He traveled aimlessly until he was recruited into Karl Von Bach’s expedition to the Bay area in 2046 as an EGO augmented Arkhunter. He currently travels the Bay area in his dodge challenger with his two EGO augmented Tibetan Spaniels, Mojo and Geo. He liberated both dogs from a Ego Program animal testing facility. Mojo has cloak EGO power and Geo has blur.
Mark tends to be an introvert and loner. He feels somewhat lost and is trying to find purpose. When he does connect with people or causes, he becomes extremely loyal to them. He would describe himself as an optimistic pessimist. This will get me killed. Oh hell! I was having a bad day anyway.
He refers to his EGO as Dorothy Gale from The Wizard of Oz. Her constant optimism and complimentary comments reminds him of the song Over the Rainbow.

BACKGROUND - Born and raised in Inverness, Scotland. She was on holiday with schoolmates in New York when the Ark falls began. Isolated from the rest of her family in Scotland, she needed to find a way to survive. She was accepted into an EMC sponsored engineering/machinist program and graduated at the top of her class. She subsequently gained contracted employment with VBI and worked in their defense screen department. Hoping to find someway to return to her family in Scotland, Eve volunteered for the EGO program and VBI expedition to the Bay area in 2046.
Currently, she also does contracted work at Top-Notch Tools Works. The owner, Rosa Rodriquez, was kind in offering a loft there. She hopes to find some work at the Bug-N-Chug Base.
Eve tends to be workaholic. She is more comfortable around machines than people. She places more value in acting logically than emotionally.

BACKGROUND - Born on earth in the Sulos Colony in Brazil. She was a tomboy going up. She would always be found climbing trees, stunt riding her quad, or challenging the older Volan kids in her community with dares.
She ended up in the Bay Area after escaping from a cult that had abducted her. She eventually plans to return home but is currently having too much fun. She is often found in the company of a group of Irathient orphans. She considers Cass Dukar as a good friend. Although, Cass has never forgiven her for misplacing the T4 Titan she borrowed.
Sazri is gregarious, fun loving. She tends to thrive in chaos.

BACKGROUND - Born in the Solus Colony in Brazil. Too young to serve the VC during Pale Wars, he served as VC predator from 2035 to 2045. He left Brazil and the VC at the urging of his parents to find his younger sister, Sazri. When her trail lead to the Bay Area, he joined Carl Von Bach’s VBI expedition to get there. Has a tent and
bed roll in the back of Headlands Transit Depot. He still has his Collective Predator armor, but only wears it for extreme combat situation. He plans to return to Brazil after finding his sister.
Sulzar prefers things to by orderly and clean. He routinely breaks down his weapons and armor to their individual components to clean them before reassembling them. He believes in the Irathient gods and also sets aside a time for daily worship.
When it comes to his relationship to other more seasoned warriors. He feels the need to prove himself.

BACKGROUND - Jezza of the Thawandayo of Castithan Society. Being casteless and a female, her people consider her the lowest of the low. Her family had been of the Emine Liro/merchant caste. A rival Castithan business associate had orchestrated their ruin. She is all of what remains of her family and has had to turn to thievery to survive.
Being rescued by the 7th Legion in Calgary proved an opportunity for a better life. Either out of pity or due to something in their warrior code, these warrior tolerated her accompanying them through their journey through the rest of Canada and to the Bay Area.
Jezza has had to be selfish to survive. Her time with the 7th Legion has awaken a sense of honor and loyalty. She prefers the company of humans over her own people, who look down on her.

BACKGROUND - Born in Bangor, ME. She was a track star in high school and a big fan of Stephen King. She was in the middle of her ER residency in Detroit when the Arkfall event started. She managed escape and headed east. She lost her husband along the way.
Years later, Gwen takes part in the VBI Expedition to the Bay Area. She currently runs a small health clinic at Iron Demon Ranch.
