Well, I took some liberties and made the shoutbox in the upper part of the forum on every page and removed the duplicate. If anyone thinks it's not the best placement, feel free to suggest.
Other than that I have some suggestions.
1. I can re-create reference section with maps, timeline, etc.
2. I can restore all icons from the old forum. They are mostly transparent, so I can colorize them according to the main theme.
3. I think the 100x110 pix picture as a thread icon is an overkill. It makes the table row with a thread name too high. Imagine 10-20 threads on the board
. To my opinion best is 32x32, but if you want it larger, it still should be not larger than 64x64. Defiance-themed icons from DefianceData.com is your best choice.
4. I think the location-based layout of RP sections doesn't work for the world of Defiance. Characters travel often and fast, use various telecommunications and so on. For example, now we have a section named South America, while the action unfolds in San Francisco.
I suggest making one RP board for now and keep it "new thread — new story" style. If/when there will be a need for new sections, we'll just create them and sort threads how we will find it appropriate.
5. I have the whole archive of the forum of the time before the last story aka Limon-Lime started. So if you need some old threads like character profiles or old RP, I can upload it somewhere.
