I wanted to use it anyway so here the subtitles to the recorders and cutscenes.
1 recorder.
Ferik: You've been shepherded by the signs and now hear the whisper scream. The Thorn Liro is here.
We must remain hidden, so you will need to prove yourself, but an opportunity to earn respect and wealth awaits.
But so does the swing of Death's scythe. Consider that before you proceed.
2 recorder.
Ferik: Like the intrusive Votan zwazo vine, you persevere. And like its thorns, you draw blood.
Perhaps you'll climb high enough to rip apart the clouds.
3 recorder.
Ferik: The Thorn Liro is the beacon. We are that which keeps others from getting lost in the depths.
And there you are, just one step away from entering our light and earning the wealth and respect you're after.
Cutscene 1:
"You got my message, which means you have an EGO implant, but I hope that's not all that makes you unique. I'm Ferik. I run an underground blood circuit: The Thorn Liro. To rise through the ranks, you need to master the given challenges. If you do, you earn the respect and fortune that you're after. Nothing's free in this new world. You have to earn it. This belief is revolting to some. And that's why I have to keep the Thorn liro so cryptic. If you accept, come find me. If you don't... Then you're not what I thought you were.
About castes:
The Yuke Liro is made up of the workers. Those that make the machine run They labor to feed the ruling liro, yet they go hungry. They've earned more. Show that you have too, and fight.
The soldiers of the Rizi Liro sit outside of the traditional caste structure, but are still used as tools by the ruling class. Show that you wish to be a Thorn soldier, but one who will fight for the people, not against them.
The Emine Liro is made up of the merchant class. The greed and nepotism of these people knows no bounds. Show the Thorn that you will defend the disenfranchised.
The Valáne Liro are the most bitter class. An assemblage of the upper crust not quite "good" enough to rule, but given the right to abuse the lower. Show us you can be a vessel for the Thorn to thrown their anger back at them.
The Shanje Liro rule all, yet they've earned nothing. Show the Thorn Liro that what you received you have earned.
Cutscene 2:
You're every bit as dangerous as Id' hoped. And you've earned your status as a Thawandaye. A Thorn Liro champion. Congratulations. To most, these masks honor our people's culture. And glorify the liros. But that's not why we wear them. We wear the masks to mock the liros. We want others to rise up and annihilate this vulgar system. We want people to see this mask and be reminded of how unjust and sickening the upper liro is. And how those in it, will do anything to blind you from seeing that. Take it. Wear it. Let the whisper scream. The Thorn Liro is here. And nothing will stop it from growing.

My comment:
Seems no one of Castithans can't see oneself out of caste. It's worse than death for them. So Thorn Liro treads slowly and wisely. They don't try to break the society construction, they just widen it.
If they just go out and shout: "Hey guys, drop off this caste shit, lets dance out our freedom of mind!" they will be killed in a moment by raged crowd. So, to change a way of mind of the whole society, they must act carefully. And they've chosen a wise way: to make a caste of all castes. So no one will be outcasted if accept some new ideas. And they use traditional views in their propaganda: mystery, force, respect, wealth, pride, and respect again. This is not revolution, this is evolution. They don't try to break their culture, they slowly bend it.
I can imagine that in several generations this Thorn liro will be the only one caste, and in a distant future there will be no caste at all. This is a long way though.
