Primary question: Since our current story-line may tale us there, if Paradise in the Defiance game had a bazaar like in Defiance the TV series, where in Paradise do you think the bazaar should be located? Secondary question: Since Paradise seems more rural than Defiance, should the bazaar be daily, weekly, or monthly? Tertiary question: Should we call it Paradise's bazaar or flea market or some other name? I have my ideas, but I'd rather hear yours first and not influence them with mine; however I do see the bazaar in Paradise as being much less permanent than the one in Defiance! Here is the concept art for the bazaar in the TV series: And some actual shots of the set in use:

Me thinks that once a week is reasonable...And follows long traditions of arranging markets, bazaars and such in weekends. Maybe even twice a week. In midweek and in weekend. Gives locals a chance to get rid of surplus products. Bazaar is a nice name, me thinks.

Volo's suggestion of midweek and during the weekend sounds good. I am not sure if it should be every week, every other week, or once a month though. Not sure of the name but the Paradise Bazaar, or the Soleptor Marketplace, or some such thing would work for me. So I suppose I will leave the naming up to you if those don't work. As for the location, also not sure, but a moderately safe location would be recommended. Of the top of my head I would say: 1: The Shondu Consulate 2: the clearing across from Happy Pow farm 3: Coit Tower 4: the Water temple For some reason, the Pacific Gate and Collective Plaza also come to mind. However if I remember right those are dangerous locations. So as Taffer said he is going to drive around in game and find potential spots to suggest, I think I will leave my suggestions just in case I said one he didn't think of and he wants to check it out. However I do remember a serene area near the water and a hillside wall or something that would make a picturesque setting if I could remember for sure which location it is. I want to say it is Pacific Gate but not sure but do think it may be in that area.

Okay, I think I've made up my mind. As we know, a Land Coach operated by Overland Transport Company arrives to Defiance every two weeks. I think it's safe to assume it's the same for Bay Area and the big bazaar should be timed to its arrival. There are two locations I which I think could serve both as a stop for a Land Coach and a bazaar place at the same time. First is Bug'n'Chug with its racing ring that could fit a lot of shops and merchants. The downside is that it's located too close to San Fran and it's also poorly protected from Hellbug nests which located around the track. So all in all, it looks more like and Arkhunter's outpost rather than a safe trading spot. On the contrary, Headlands Transit looks much safer in that regard, albeit it has less space. But still, many vendors can fit on the peninsula, especially if we include the road running through it as a territory for the marketplace too. Then, as Volodja noted, there should be a local market for residents to have their weekly trade between themselves. I doubt Tork would tolerate all the hassle with the bazaar more frequently than twice a week, so the local bazaar should happen elsewhere. Driving around the map, I've found a neat and quiet place which seems well-kept but at the same time greatly underused: The Chicken Ranch. The place seems big enough to serve as a local marketplace and it seems plausible that it might be a good source of income for the owner as it seems they don't have any others aside from breeding chicken. Moreover, it's located roughly in the center of the Bay Area which makes it easier for local residents from all surrounding areas to come there for trade. So my decision is — Headlands transit every two weeks for the Overland Bazaar and Chicken Ranch twice a week for the local bazaar or just the bazaar.

I didn't think about the Overland coach and Headlands transit, but it makes sense as a big bazaar every couple weeks. So does using the Chicken Ranch twice a week for the local bazaar/farmer's market and love the pics to show your points. But please refresh my memory on what gun is in Vo's hand.

But please refresh my memory on what gun is in Vo's hand. It's a Radiant Solstice Pulser. It's not a JP so it shares the model and skin with a simple Votan Pulser with Radiation nano. AFAIR it's modded for Movement Accuracy hence the unusual-looking sights.

I was thinking at the bottom of Top-Notch Toolworks' ramp because there are always farmers selling stuff there, but I'm cool wherever you guys want it! Just looking over what was said, I'll say there seems to be a general consensus but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong): (1) The Overland Bazaar happens every two weeks on the weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm, shop and stay for the fireworks afterwards!) when the stage comes in, which provides more out-of-area goods as peddlers come into the area from afar although locals sell there as well (I remember traveling peddlers arriving into Defiance by Overland stage in the TV series). (2) The Paradise Farmer's Market occurs at the Chicken Ranch during the weekends the Overland Bazaar is not occurring and is mostly where local farmers sell their excess produce but also has a flea market section where locals sell antiques and homemade goods of all kinds. I went with weekends because (a) most normal folk are working their jobs during the week I imagine even after the Apocalypse and probably most importantly (b) it's easy for me to remember (LOL)! We can change any of this if y'all want, just say so here, otherwise this will stand! Now I'm going back to watching the Avengers' "Civil War" movie - again! PS - I remember dying at the Chicken Ranch MANY times during PVP matches (Shadow Wars I think)! Am I right?
