"Welcome to my not so humble house!" declared Euthanasius Todt. "Everything I own has becometh thanks to my little friends - leeches, viruses and bacteria. Come in, come in!" And Doctor made a huge inviting gesture with his hand ending it with a flip of the palm. Last sign was meant to James who understood the signal and flew away to mind his giant insect business. Diabolic duo followed Doctor into his house which interior reached beyond imagination of a simple man, although Lena and Marcel weren't that simple and in matter of fact they dreamed having something as luxurious as Doctor Euthanasius for a long time and worked towards that goal. "To be honest," said owner of this fairy tale castle, "This Abbie virus appeared on time because I need a new bathroom. Marble perhaps. Depends how good Abbie is selling. May I offer you a drink? I guess you are not mind, so...Doris!" Silence followed that yell and made Euthanasius to scream once more. This time with a bit louder voice: "Dooriis!" Still no reply. So next shout was even louder: "DORIS!" Host turned to Lena and Marcel and explained: "I told you that she is slow like an ox. Loyal but dumb, but don't tell that to her." When they finally saw a tall edged figure of an elderly woman appear from behind closed door, leading into...somewhere, Euthanasius sighed and told in mild voice with a hint of beginning storm: "How many times I have to tell you NOT to go into the laboratory of mine. You don't have any business there, because that simple mind of yours. You forgot that again, didn't you? Then let me remind that you are here to take care of needs of me and my guests, so will you be so kind and get us something to drink! And for your own sake I hope that you didn't disturbed Hubert." Woman disappeared into the kitchen and Euthanasius explained: "Hubert is my assistant. Hope that you didn't expect me to have a creepy assistant, called Igor. It would be way too out of date these days. Hubert shares my passion to smaller life forms and has his little harmless hobby which you are about to see because we are going into my lab to take care of that leech problem of yours. I have to introduce you with Doris later when the thought of mixing us couple of cocktails finally has made it's way through her thick skull. Let's not waste any time to some vain expectations, like getting a drink right away and concentrate on something, we actually are able to get, like the results of catching Abbie and giving Pooh Bear his home back. Come now." And Doctor Euthanasius led his guests into the air lock of his lab. "Hello Hubert!" said Euthanasius, opening second door of the airlock, leading into his laboratory where bald man in lab coat, wearing pair of round glasses, plus magnifying glass in front of his right eye was busy with dissecting some kind of small vermin with a drool drip on the corner of his wide toad like mouth. "Be polite to him," he whispered to Lena and Marcel. "He tends to be a bit cranky when his dragged away from his dissecting table." Hubert turned towards them with a sharp move and even sharper scalpel in his hand, pulled saliva loudly back to his mouth and asked a bit stiffly with his accented voice: "What do you want from me?"

Attila and his sister Atika were in the Mess when they got the notification from Atticus to report to the Riot for the next mission, so they quickly got their sandwiches to go. Then they stopped at their quarters long enough to grab their gear before making haste to the hangar bay. Once there Atticus and Taffer immediately filled them in. So as Vo hadn't arrived yet they went into the Riot and got situated. Then they ate their sandwiches and chips while everyone awaited Vo's arrival any minute. As soon as he had arrived and Taffer filled him in, everyone took their seats on the Riot and Lady got it into the air. Then shortly after Taffer informed them all of a slight change in the flight plan.
Hearing that Atticus stood and said, "Well that's my cue to go into the Garilu and double-check it's systems as I prepare for the drop shortly after Lady and Vo join me." Then Atticus who was sitting near Lady gave her a quick kiss on the cheek so as not to disturb her concentration or block her view (Though he would always prefer the long slow passionate and loving kisses that she gave him whenever they could make the time for it), but did linger near her long enough to say, "I did bring you a something as I thought you may want it to help your ears pop after the landing. Given Taffer's change in the flight plan you may want it even more for that reason....and don't worry as I made it myself I know it is safe." Atticus then slipped a small pack of his homemade gum into Lady's pocket, as he completely secured his helm in place and then climbed through the hatch into the Garilu. Once there he begin the process of once again double-checking it's systems and making sure everything on board was safely secured for the hard landing that the Garilu would undoubtedly be making.
Meanwhile on the Vigilant, once Lebeau had left the ship and Yar and Lexy (the ship's AI) informed him that everyone was onboard and ready, Kaj gave the order to prep for take-off. Shortly after the Riot had cleared the hangar and was on it's way, the Vigilant was cleared for take-off. So Kaj gave the order and they were soon in the air and on the way. The flight plan they were to take was basically the same as the flight plan Taffer had originally programmed for the Riot, but with one difference. The Vigilant was not to go anywhere near the Doctor's "Mysterious Island", but was instead to head towards Île Vate (Efate). That way they were in comm and Dark portal range but at no risk of being taken down by whatever weather anomalies haunted the Island of Doctor Todt. The Vigilant's communications officer of course making sure to keep in contact with Atika aboard the Riot and apprise both Kaj Oenfer, Commander of the Vigilant, and the ship's AI, Lexy, of any changes in orders or flight plans that Taffer or Atticus may have Atika send them.

Slashing scalpel made Marcel to jump in front of Lena top protect her from possible danger, even if that scalpel attack seemed to be unintentional deciding by it's nature. Next move was protect Hubert form Lena's counter attack, so Marcel remained to his place. Letting her break Hubert's almost non-existent neck did not seemed to be the best way to make friends and influence people at moment. "Hubert! These are my guests," warned Doctor Euthanasius. "They mean no harm." Then he turned to Lena and Marcel and explained: "Hubert tends to be a bit...edgy when someone breaks his concentration." Hubert's eyes behind thick glasses (and one magnifying glass) reflected distrust, although his wide mouth curved into a grimace which could be interpreted as a smile when Euthanasius continued: "Even I manage to make him jumpy sometimes. But no harm done this time. We all are friends here. And friends help each other. Yes?" Lena and Marcel responded with a nod, so Euthanasius could go on. "If lady is so kind and lays down to this operation table we can continue with our...thing." said Euthanasius, taking rubber apron from the closet and dressed himself into it. After that he opened package of sterile surgical gloves and put pair of those slowly on his hands. Movement of Euthanasius's fingers after gloves were put on and he tried to get himself adjusted with the latex reminded footwork of a giant spider. To be honest, that movement was fucking far from being reliable. Especially when Doctor Euthanasius begun to lay his arsenal to the surgical tray - scalpels, lancets, retractors, graspers etc. All surgical instruments were brand new and looked somewhat blood thirsty. Marcel examined that equipment and Doctor Euthanasius...and Hubert. Then he turned his glance on Lena who seemed to be even whiter than usual. He remembered that his beloved Lena had really bad experience with scientists. In Lena's world Doctors were associated with pain and these two - Euthanasius and Hubert - were not exactly the most trustworthy couple to prove that Lena's prejudices were exaggerated. That is why Marcel opened his mouth and asked: "And how exactly are you going to catch that Abbie leech?" "That's easy. We are going to perform a simple Caesarean section. In simple English it means that we are going to cut Lena open, take Abbie out and then we sew Lena's cut wound." Doctor Euthanasius's speech was short and sharp as a scalpel and made Marcel not only frown but also to ask: "Is there any other way to get Abbie out?" "No, my curious friend," snapped Euthanasius. "Unless you find a way to lure Abbie out without a need to perform a surgery." Marcel noticed that Hubert became more concentrated when Euthanasius declared that surgical interception was a must. Another drool drip appeared into the corner of his frogmouth and his smile widened significantly. To be honest, it was not a pretty sight and made Marcel to think about alternatives until he could feel the birth of an idea. He said. "What if I prove that there is another way to get rid of Abbie without touching Lena even with a tip of a finger?" "I would like to see that," said Euthanasius. "I really do."

Post by Lena Marr on Aug 6, 2016 19:12:48 GMT
"Yeaaaaaaaah", Lena Marr sat quickly upright on the operating table, "I'm starting think this wasn't such a good idea! First, I don't see any anesthesia equipment set up anywhere in here, and although I may be an S&M fan sometimes, I prefer giving to receiving. Second, I have manged for some twenty years not to scar up this perfect alabaster body of mine, and I'd like to keep it looking this good! I've seen the Cesarean scars on women who resolved pregnancies that way, and it was NOT a pretty sight! And third... um... third... I owe Abbie a favor for curing my brain virus, so I'll just carry her to term. That can't be too long, right? We ARE talking about a giant leech, sooooooo.... what is the gestation period of leeches? Can't be long!"
Lena stood up, felling a chill go up and down her spine just looking at the scientist and his assistant, but also realizing she was still naked as the day she was born. She didn't like the way the doctor's assistant, Hubert, drooled every time he stared at her, so when she spotted a unattended lab coat hanging on a coat rack in a corner of the lab, she sauntered over to it, grabbing it quickly and donning it, thankful that it had buttons although even buttoned up it showed off her ample cleavage.
Lena turned to the door, seeing it blocked by the pale blond latex gloved Dr. Euthanasius, reminding her of another scientist, although that one Indogene, in the sewers of Lima who conducted unmentionable experiments on her when she was but a child, so she growled between clenched teeth, her chalk white fist clenched so hard that her fingernails actually cut into the flesh of her palms, "Don't make me angry! You wouldn't like me when I get angry!"

Post by Erika Widowmaker on Aug 6, 2016 20:11:01 GMT
Teagan Allyn led Erika Widowmaker, followed by her daughter Kara, and her two grandchildren, with Mr. Sulu, Minister Allyn's administrative assistant, taking up the rear, through the ancient dank tunnel under the huge Chancellor's House, which could be more appropriately called the Presidential palace of the Votan Collective. Suddenly there was a ladder, that led up to a fake wall space and then a secret door into the Chancellor's ball room. Since Chancellor Cael was her son, she knew of the secret egress into the highly secured complex, as all his family members were briefed on it in case of danger; but in fact, as the former Director of National Security, she knew of it before he did.
Still, Erika was never a fan of cloak and dagger, so when they got into the small hidden room, facing the wall that on the other side was a painting that pivoted outwards, her jade eyes narrowed, asking, "Do you have a spare weapon?"
Teagan's blue eyes widened before replying, "Oh, you won't need THAT!" Then leaned on the secret door making it swing open into the darkness beyond.
Erika' large jade green eyes could perceive movement in the room - lots of movement as Irathient eyes are sharper and need less light to see than human ones, but was also blinded by the lights in the ballroom when they were suddenly turned on and her ears were regaled by many voices yelling, "SURPRISE! WELCOME HOME!"
As the spots faded from her eyes, Erika saw the ballroom was full of people, many of whom she knew from when she worked for the Votan Collective government, including one General Thadeus Kima who she once had a romantic dalliance with, but who she hadn't seen in years. Before she could even think to head his way, the smiling handsome face of her son, Chancellor Kael, filled her view as he was thrusting a glass of Irathiant brandy into her hand; his jade eyes, which so reminded her of her own looking back from a mirror, gleaming with pleasure, before he turned to the crowd of Votan nobles, statesmen, and dignitaries.
"To my mother, Erika Widowmaker," Cael began his sincere toast, "My guiding light when I was young and my voice of wisdom now that I'm older! Salute!"
His salute was echoed earnestly throughout the huge ballroom, and Erilka put on her best diplomatic face, smiling for the crowd as her jade eyes darted around the room looking for cloaked snipers and her ears perked ready to hear the tell-tale hiss of some sinister gas, but neither case became a reality. Instead, just person after person lined up to greet her and her family, with only nice things to say even though some of the Votans she recognized as political enemies from the past. Still, everyone was smiling and she could discern no ill intentions in any of him, as Amber, her EGO psyche, assured her that there was nothing amiss.
As the line of people wanting to wish her well died down, Erika leaned over to her son's ear and whispered, the stage smile still on her face, "And who's idea was all this?"
Kael's own smile grew wider on his red clay colored face as he answered, "It was Teagan's idea of course. Evidently there is a human custom of a 'Welcome Back' party for people who have been gone for a long time given by their loved ones who missed them, and believe me mother, I have missed you. You are indispensable to my administration and seriously... to my life," After hugging her, but then feeling the situation becoming awkward, he tapped on his brandy class with a small thin metal rod taken from his inner suit pocket, ordering, "Let the music begin!"
An orchestra she had not noticed at first in the back of the ballroom began to play, and the ruggedly good looking General Kima in a full Votan Elite Guard dress uniform, his many metals glittering in the bright light of the ballroom, was suddenly in front of her, asking in his gruff voice, "May I have the first dance?"
Erika smiled genuinely, showing her perfect white teeth, something that took her family somewhat aback as they rarely saw her smile that way, as she answered sweetly, "The first... and the last too if you like, Thadeus!"
As Erika and General Kima danced a perfect waltz, and others in the crowd slowly joined in, Kara walked over to her brother and asked with her own jade eyes wide and an incredulous look on her pretty Irathiant face, "Was our mother... flirting?"
Chancellor Kael laughed, putting his own arm around Teagan Allyn's slim waist and answered his sister with a big grin before whisking Teagan off to the dance floor, "Yes, I DO believe she was!"

"Will you do me a favour and send this...Hubert away," asked Marcel. "I am sure that he has plenty of small animals to cut. This operation, I am about to perform, might be too much for him." "You heard what this gentlemen said, Hubert." was Euthanasius's gentle remark. "Maybe it is better that you'll go and find something else to do because our guest doesn't seem to demand services of experienced surgeon. Or maybe he is just afraid to share his secrets. Or..." Humber muttered something, which sounded like agreement, pulled drool drip back to the mouth and headed towards the storage room while Marcel explained: "Have you heard about the book, called Decameron? About ten young people who hid from the plague and spent ten days, telling tales to each other in seclusion to make time go by. I heard about that book from one of my...acquittance who is usually boring as a man can ever be, but when we had to shorten some waiting time ourselves by telling stories, he told me some pretty juicy ones from that book. Most of those stories he told me, were submitted to some guy, called Dioneo, who acquired himself right to be the last teller and tell a tale on any topic he wishes, to offer some comic relief if stories of others were too sad or serious. Or something like that. Anyway - his comments were boring as he tends to be, so I did everything to forget them, but tales...They were something different." When Hubert was out of the sight, Marcel went on, becoming more specific: "One of those tales talked about Alibech who turns hermit, and a monk, Rustico, who teaches her to put the Devil in Hell. And that is what I am going to do, although I have something to add to that obscene and humorous story" said Marcel, unzipping his trousers and letting them drop to the floor. "I prefer pleasure over pain and I also said that there is no need to touch Lena even with a fingertip...But I did not said that I do not poke Lena with something else," declared Marcel when he experienced a "resurrection of the flesh" as Dioneo quipped centuries ago. "This not so little Devil goes to the Hell now and when it returns, then hopefully not alone. When I offer a decent bait, I should be able to catch that naughty blood thirsty Abbie leech and pull it out with my fishing equipment. Much more pleasurable for Lena than your scalpels." Meanwhile Lena returned to operation table and unbuttoned her lab coat again. Marcel became quiet because he was busy to offer Lena some anaesthetic French kisses, then some more kisses to her firm alabaster white breasts and her slightly convex tummy, before kneeling by the operation table and saying: "Ready or not, here I come." and "Come out, come out wherever you are." to ease Lena's tension. Finally little Pooh Bear/Devil stuck his snout into the little Honey Pot/Hell and settled himself comfortably in. After some rhythmical movement and sweet noises and pleasure it causes, Marcel felt, that he had caught Abbie, so he pulled out his rod which was suddenly at least twice as long as it used to be. Suppressing the pain, caused by giant leech (and that subconscious feeling which is usually described as a "castration anxiety"), Marcel lit a cigarette and said calmly, proving that he was not only a man, willing to take risks for someone he loved, but also a man who might like to live dangerously, and yet is reasonable enough to avoid putting himself into unnecessary danger situation: "I believe that we have two ways to drop Abbie into this medical bowl. Two, because if you are gong to suggest to cut Abbie off, then I have to refuse. Nobody touches my equipment, except me and my girl. Especially when there are sharp blades involved. So we have TWO options. One is to wait until it sucks enough of my blood and drops off like leeches do. The other is much quicker and involves burning Abbie with my cigarette. But since Lena might be attached to Abbie, I can not hurt the leech until I have Lena's permission. Oh and by the way, Doctor. Speaking of Lena...No hands as I promised."

Post by Belle Starr on Aug 8, 2016 15:47:07 GMT
Time sometime moves like an out-of-control roller coaster. At other times, Time seems to stand still. This is one of those latter times.
***** Belle Starr sat alone in a waiting room at Topnotch Toolworks in Paradise, allowing her host, Rosa Rodriguez, to get back to her business of getting a stubborn Durango engine to work again. She had heard that Chase Lonehart was starting a new historical salvage endeavor, and she hoped to score a security job since she was told they were close friends. Unfortunately for Belle, she had no memory of that friendship, of Chase, or even of this world. Belle smiled grimly, thinking how writing that on a job application might be detrimental to her being hired, but since he already had been informed of her situation, at least she might be spared that embarrassment.
"Maybe," Thought Belle to herself, "If I can't get a job in the Bay Area, maybe I can get a job at the Need/Want in Defiance as a hooker!"
Belle's blue diamond eyes widened as she wondered how she knew of Defiance or the Need/Want brothel-bar, as here were no such places in The Commonwealth, but just as quickly dismissed it as she must have read about those places somewhere, and she needed to stay focused on task as someone was just entering the room.
*****
In the Capital City of the Votan Collective, very, very, south of the Bay Area, Erika Widowmaker enjoyed her welcome home party thrown by her son, Chancellor Cael, surrounded by her family and friends. She couldn't remember when the last time she had a time, even a brief one, where she had no responsibility other than just to have fun.
However, as she danced her fifth dance with the handsome if somewhat grizzled General Kima, part of her was wondering when things would go horribly, horribly, wrong.
*****
On a forgotten island even further from the Bay Area, now home to a scientist who bred lethal diseases as weapons, Lena Marr was not having as much fun as she wanted, but more than she expected. To get a potential host of one such disease out of her uterus, a leech she named Abbie, her lover Marcel had used his manly tool as a fishing pole with Abbie as the fish. Unfortunately for Lena, she was just starting to enjoy his fishing expedition when he caught Abbie and pulled the leech out.
Marcel said, "I believe that we have two ways to drop Abbie into this medical bowl. Speaking of Lena... No hands as I promised."
Lena took Marcel's cigarette from his lips, taking a deep drag, then picking up a bowl from a counter, then kneeling down holding it under Marcle's penis as she gently held the burning cigarette to Abbie's back until she let go and dropped into the bowl as Lena muttered to Abbie, "Sorry baby, but if you could't take the heat, you should have stayed out of the kitchen."
*****
Meanwhile, Lady Christianna was happily in the zone of living moment-to-moment as she piloted The Protector's aircraft ever closer to the island in question.
*****
In the bowels of the Vigilant, Sandy Bell inspected her security team old-school military style as they stood at attention, she examined their uniforms, weapons, and demeanor. She also chatted with them about their background and personal life - things like where they were from and if they had family in the Bay Area - to get to know her men, and so her men could get to know each other and perhaps even more importantly, her.

Post by Taffer on Aug 8, 2016 22:43:37 GMT
Taffer watched Lady piloting the Riot to the suborbital trajectory and then following the zero gravity maneuver. Some time ago, when the Vigilant was on its first flight, Taffer didn't allow Lady to pilot it during this kind of maneuver thinking she was not experienced enough for it. This time, he was pretty certain that his second pilot was pretty much capable of doing that, and he noted with satisfaction that their "free fall" arc was ending right where he expected it too, slightly to the left of the island so that they could begin their landing spiral at the right moment.
"We're about to re-enter the dense atmosphere," Taffer announced, "So the Garilu team better take their seats in the rover before the G-force dubbed with air drag kicks in, which will make accessing the roof much more… complicated. Thanks for the job well done Lady, now let's see if Lu will live up to the high standards you've just established."
Just as he said that, Lu readily unfastened the belt of her seat and jumped up to get to the pilot seat as fast as possible. But instead of rushing forward as she expected, she suddenly skyrocketed up to the ceiling, instinctively pushed herself away from it which made her fly back down and to the side where she bounced off the wall and finally stopped in Vo's arms who had his feet straddled between two seats to keep himself upright while he was catching his flying sister.
"Yeah, zero gravity takes some time to get used to it," Vo remarked as he helped Lu stand still holding onto the back of a seat. "I'll help you to your pilot seat, just hold my hand."
"Thanks brother, I'm okay, was just having some fun," Lu replied although she felt slightly dizzy from her sudden flight and the overall zero gravity situation, "I think I have my own means to keep myself upright."
As Lady left her seat to reach the manhole to the rover, Lu launched her Decoy which walked to the pilot seat as if the gravity was absolutely normal and Lu immediately teleported to it once it took the place in the seat, but not before she whispered "Thanks again and stay safe" to Vo's ear and tousled his hair slightly.
After making sure Lu fastened herself to the seat, Vo made a slight push with his feet and hovered into the manhole to Garilu where he took his seat. This entire situation reminded him of an intimate moment he had with Belle on the Vigilant on their space mission and he felt sad again that he could not share those feelings and memories with her as she likely did not remember anything from it.
Meanwhile Taffer announced, "Please fasten your belts and get ready for the landing" as the Riot started decreasing its vertical speed and was set on the spiraling trajectory Taffer planned for it earlier. Suddenly a storm wind started pushing it away from the island.
"What a nice invitation," Taffer muttered, "Sending our entry location to the Vigilant. Now let's circle around and see if the weather looks better from the other side."
But contrary to his expectations, on the opposite side of the island the wind kept blowing them away from it and became stronger each time they tried to get closer to the shore.
"Damn, it almost looks like it follows us around," Taffer muttered again.
"It does," Lu replied, "I have enough experience with different weather and storms to know it looks completely unnatural. I'd go as far and say it's generated."
"Well, it does not make our life any better as we don't know how to turn it off anyway," Taffer concluded and added to the intercom, "Garilu team, we're going to drop you into the water so you'll have to make your own way to the shore. Is the rover capable of that?"
"It is Taf," Vo replied, "It has almost neutral buoyancy so it can even dive under the water surface if we'd have to pass under the storm waves."
"Good to hear Vo," Taffer remarked, "And one more thing… Vo, do you hear me?" Taffer tried to re-establish the connection but all he could hear was static noises.
"All communications are down," Lu reported, "Many instruments failing except basic ones!"
"I don't see the land anywhere. Shall we get away and try another approach?" Taffer suggested with more than a slight uncertainty in his voice.
"I doubt it will be any different then," Lu replied, "Here," she pulled a piece of paper from the pocket of her armor and unfolded into what looked like a hand-drawn map of the island with some lines and numbers drawn on top of it. "If we flow this course and maintain our ground speed and vertical speed, we'll land on the beach right here. Don't expect the landing to be soft but it's better that crashing into trees or mountains."
"Someone spent their free time at a profit," Taffer remarked, "It still will be better to drop the rover into water as it will be safer for them."
They followed Lu's plan to the letter and a minute after Garilu made a loud splash in the water, the spacecraft made a huge furrow in the sand as it landed on the beach.
"Everyone's okay?" Taffer asked, "Okay, Atika and Lu — get on the radio. We need to re-establish the connection with Vigilant and Garilu ASAP. Everyone else — let's move out. Let's see what's going on outside and defend our ship if needed."

"All I have is troubles, troubles and nothing more than troubles," said Doctor Euthanasius after checking his pager. Although the pager was designed to resemble old fashioned ones, Doctors used to carry, it was actually the latest word in electronics. "Looks like that whole world has decided to ignore rules of no trespassing and decided to set their boots to MY private property without bothering to wipe them. I guess that someone forgot to set on my electromagnetic shield, which is usually quite effective of bringing down unknown flying objects...like your jet. I believe that you two will find something to do while I prepare welcoming gifts for another bunch of unexpected...actually uninvited guests, and turn the protective shield on again. But I can't let you wait not here, dears. It's a big "No-no". Just like you, Monsieur Lestrange, I am a man who doesn't like someone else playing with his tools, so I have to kick you out from my laboratory now. The guest room is at your disposal, though, and perhaps Doris has reached back to our realm again and brings you those cocktails, I mentioned. I have to give away some Darwin awards now. Enjoy your stay," said the landlord. Doctor Euthanasius put his hands on the shoulders of Lena and Marcel and led them firmly out from his lab. When the outer airlock door closed behind their backs, he pointed them towards the guest room and left the, on their own. "We do have some unfinished business to do," said Marcel to Lena and put his hands around her. "Unfinished business is also a big "No no." Especially when I heard that Euthanasius sealed the door after he left. I heard the sound of closing magnetic lock, so I believe that we are more his prisoners than guests. And since we can not escape, we could finish our Doctor play which is actually a pleasure than a business." He kissed Lena passionately after saying that. One kiss led to another. An another. But Diabolic Due did not knew that someone watched their kisses with ill hidden disapproval...

As Taffer and Lu stepped out of the Riot, Atika chuckled and said, "Everyone else? It is just the four of us here! Oh well. Tilly you try to contact the Vigilant, while I try to contact the Garilu. So get on that comm channel and help me. The twins then proceeded to work on the comms and Attila repeatedly said over his comm channel, hopefully broadcasting to the Vigilant, "This is Twin Brother. Come in Sky Giant. I repeat this is Twin Brother. Come in Sky Giant."
Eventually they managed to get contact with Kaj although it had plenty of electromagnetic static over the signal as Attila continued the message with, "This is Twin Brother. Come in Sky Giant. I repeat this is Twin Brother. Come in Sky Giant."
And finally got the response from the Vigilant of, "This...Giant... Got...on...line...trying...clean...up....hold..."
Shortly after, the Vigilant came back on comms. "This is Sky Giant. We read you Twin Brother, but some kind of electromagnetic signal is interfering with your communications. We have checked and all incoming and outgoing comms are working fine except those from you."
As Atika continued to try to enhance the signal more while still trying to reach the Garilu, Attila notified Taffer that they got to the Vigilant but still haven't reached the Garilu.

I was on the Garilu making sure all systems were at optimal condition and ready when Lady and Vo came up through it's connection hatch with the Riot. As they took their seats and strapped in, I powered up the Garilu's engines but locked them in standby so I could immediately use them and the maneuvering thrusters as needed. Shortly after Lady took the co-pilot seat next to me, we heard Taffer over the intercom, "Garilu team, we're going to drop you into the water so you'll have to make your own way to the shore. Is the rover capable of that?"
So I quickly transferred engineering specs and communications control to the screen near Vo and said, "Alright Vo your console has access to engineering specs and the comm channels, but the basic answer is yes it can handle the water landing. However since you are the engineer here, you can look for yourself to see just how capable it is of boating or submersion as you answer Taffer."
Within seconds of hearing me, Vo double-checked the specs as he got on comms to answer Taffer.
"It is Taf," Vo replied, "It has almost neutral buoyancy so it can even dive under the water surface if we'd have to pass under the storm waves."
"Good to hear Vo," Taffer remarked, "And one more thing…"
Just then the comms were filled with static and Vo said, "Comms are down."
I responded with, "No time to try to reconnect them now. The Riot's locking clamps have released us. So I am undocking now, however the outside airflow seems like a cyclone. So brace for some extreme turbulence followed by our impact with the surface."
As I undocked, I continued with, "Vo, activate shields and since comms are currently down, transfer some of their power to the rear thrusters. Enough for a powerful 45 second burst. Then once we submerge re-balance and stabilize all power."
As I finished undocking and pushed us away from the Riot, the winds slammed us hard but I managed to keep us where I wanted us. Just then Vo said, "Alright Atticus shields are active and you have that extra power."
I nodded and said quickly, "And now we......DIVE!"
Just then I pushed the nose downward and activated the rear thrusters and gave it that quick 45 second burst of boosted power to counter the wind gusts, and sure enough we broke free of the air current and quickly dove towards the ocean below. Within seconds of breaking free from the unnatural storm, we dove deep into the ocean. Then I pulled the nose up and as we were almost 2 miles below the surface, I pulled us up closer and leveled the Garilu into a horizontal position about half a mile under the surface of the ocean.
So I said, "Everyone alright?"
As soon as Lady and Vo confirmed that they were fine, I said, "Vo re-balance power now so I can re-engage the thrusters at their normal levels."
Vo said, "Already done Atticus. All systems are optimal and working on re-establishing communications as we speak."
I said, "I knew I brought the right team..." Just then I saw several huge objects in the sensors and continued with, "....Dak! what now?! Lady bring up the external cameras!"
Within seconds we saw live video of exactly what was surrounding us and we appeared to be in a pod of huge red and black creatures. I quickly said, "Snow Angel, run their image through the Garilu's database. Maybe we'll get lucky and they will be in it."
As I said that, one of the several huge creatures bumped us but didn't seem to concerned with our presence. So I was able to maneuver away from it without issue. Then I took up an evasive maneuver to keep us from being bumped again but for now at the same speed as them so as not to appear as a threat. As we watched the magnificent creatures and I kept our course while maneuvering around the creatures as they were going away from the island as we were going towards it, the results popped up on screen. "Lady merely said, "Wow...simple. Red Whales. Look."
So I quickly glanced at her console while also keeping track of our path, and the sensor readings as Vo continued trying to re-establish comms. Then I said, "Looks like we landed in a pod of red whales. It says they are relatively docile but doesn't mention the black spikes on their backs. So it looks like since this entry was made, they seem to have adapted to increasing threats by growing a sharp exoskeleton. As such I do NOT want to see what predator is hunting them to cause that evolution! Vo ready weapons! Lady, keep a close watch on both the sensors and our big red friends for any signs of danger."
As we broke clear of the pod of Red Whales, Lady informed me that sensors picked up something coming up from below fast and that the whales were startled. So I increased thrusters to max as a big creature that appeared to be all teeth grabbed at one of the Red Whales barely missing it, but getting smacked in the face by the whale's spiked tail for it's troubles. As we continued our now quicker speed toward the island, we saw another whale slam it's spiked back into the predatorial beast repeatedly and the other whales quickly joined in on the defense of their pod mate. The toothed creature did finally manage to break away from it's dinner, that wouldn't be, and the would be killer sporadically swam away now very noticeably wounded and punctured and leaving a bloody trail behind as it was already heading back on the prowl for another meal.
Just then we broke the surface of the water, and started to emerge onto the island as we heard Atika over the comms. "This is Twin Sister. Come in Garilu. Repeat come in Garilu. Shadow Warrior if any of you can here this please respond."
I said, "Vo we better respond. See if they need our assistance or if they managed to get us a more accurate location to make our way to....Also advise them to avoid the ocean if possible as they do NOT want to come face to face with "Sharks Teeth", if at all possible."

After another voracious kiss, Lena Marr placed a chalk white hand against Marcel's chest gently pushing him away as she said with a wicked grin, "Hold that thought Cowboy! We need to go secure our horse and ride into the sunset," She then took out from the white cuff of her lab coat a set of surgical tools, remarking, "Give me a sec, and I'll have us out of this room! No lock can keep little Lena in one place for long." Lena went to her knees facing the door and quickly pried off the door lock's panel with a scalpel, still only wearing the lab coat so that her pant-less shapely chalk white rear was revealed, then began working with the wires within with her pink tongue sticking out of the corner of her lush lips as she concentrated with unblinking sky blue eyes, but glanced at Marcel long enough to see that he was admiring her pretty derriere with his steely gaze while he puffed on a cigarette, so she suggested as her grin grew bigger, "Sooooo... that doesn't mean I can't do two things at the same time, Pooh Bear." After dropping his pants and getting on his knees as well, Marcel mounted her from behind with his cigarette hanging loosely from his lips, beginning a rhythmic motion reminiscent of dogs in heat. Lena steadied herself against the door with one alabaster hand while working on opening the lock with the other, remarking to Marcel between gasps of orgasmic delight, "By - the - way - Doctor - E - is - not - going - to - be - happy - when - he - finds -out - that - Abbie - is - a - normal - leech - now - cause - all - the - nanos - are - loose - in - me!" Hope, Lena's EGO psyche at the moment popped into Moria's room in Marcel's noggin, shaking her chalk white tresses earnestly at his EGO psyche, saying, "It's true - and when he finds out, he's going to want to keep Lena as a lab rat, so I hope we can get the heck out of here soon!"

"Twin Sister, this is Garilu," Vo replied, following Commander's order. "We've reached shore and we're on the sturdy ground now. Can you give us some directions on where the last signal from Lena was detected with respect our current position?" "The satellite connection is still down," they heard Lu's voice joining the conversation, "So I have to follow my hand-drawn map to get our bearings. According to Klimi's calculations, We've landed on the west coast wich is close to the place from where we heard the signal, but it's located somewhere deeper in the forest. So your general direction is east, three to five miles from here. Look for cutoff trees or other signs of a crash landing." "Well, it's not much but thatnks for the information Lu," Vo repled, "And whatever you do, please stay away from the Ocean. We've already met the beast which could swallow our rover in a single move, and that's not an exaggeration. This time we got lucky the creature had other things to do and more tasty prey to hunt." "Okay," Vo said to Atticus, " think we're ready to continue with our plan, and our general direction according to Lu's calculations is east." Meanwhile, Taffer watched his team coming out of the spacecraft as they looked around for any dangers outside. The stormwind was still raging so there was nothing to see but dust in the wind, althrough his EGO scan didn't return any results either. He ordered the team to stand guard and watch the surroundings while he tried to assess the damage dealt to the Riot with their hard landing. Suddenly his peripheral vision caught some movement. Actually, there was a lot of movement around as all trees and foliage was bended by a hard wind, but this was some special kind of movement. Someone was hiding and trying to sneak up on them. "Alright team," Taffer said through his EGO, "I'm going to check this direction. Keep your eyes on me and follow if needed, but try not to attract too much attention. If you see any person or some creature, watch them but do not attack unless my EGO sends a distress signal." With that said, Taffer engaged his Cloak and sneaked in the direction where the movement was previously noticed. After taking a few steps Taffer frose as he finally saw who was sneaking at them. The creature looked like a big menacing cat but its head was decorated by a pair of long arched horns. Two pairs of horns to be precise. The creature was steadily closing in, although Taffer noticed it was slightly nervous as it looked around from time to time as it was chased. Still, it was following Taffer's direction even if he was cloaked. By the way it was snuffling the air, it was mostly relying to the smell as it tried to find it. "Again, do not attack unless Dash sends a distress signal," Taffer send through his EGO, "I'm going to tty and scare it away." He waited for the animal to come close, seeing it looked slightly surprised and annoyed that it cannot see the source of the smell and then suddenly he emerged from his Cloak and a bright sparkling charge blade appeared right between the creature's eyes. The creature roared and took a step back and roared at Taffer, but then stopped as it tried to assess the danger. It watched Taffer calmly as he made several swings at it, and then turned to the side and started to packpedal slowly, still looking around but watching Taffer through its peripheral vision. After it disappeared among trees and Em Dash confirmed she cannot detect it any longer, Taffer returned his team at the Riot. "You won't believe what a creature I've just seen!" Taffer's voice sounded unusually excited as he tried to share his voice message with both the Riot and Garilu teams, "It looked like a cat with…" "Two pairs of long curved horns," Lu's voice interrupted him sounded somewhat gloomy, "That's how it looks on the picure I've drawn." "Hey, have you seen it before?" "No I didn't. At least I don't remember seeing anything like it. And I don't remember drawing this picture. But it's drawn on the back side of the map I've drawn and it's drawn with the same pencil I've drawn the map with and I've never let go of either of them until now so I have to assume I've drawn it somehow at some momemnt. Klimi says she doesn't remember anything about it either." "Okay, don't fret it Lu," Taffer replied "Drawing pictures of animals while not paying attention is not dangerous. Beasts themselves are. But what I'm more concerned about is that although this creature looked menacing by itself, it acted like it was afraid of something. It looked around all the time and it didn't try to attack me even when I looked obviously smaller and weaker. It was almost as if it was afraid that even a minor wound would weaken it and it was very dangerous for it to be even slightly weakened. Attila could probably confirm or deny my assumptions on such behavior, but it gets me thinking what can be that dangerous here even to a beast like that? Anyway, keep wtching each other and don't go away from each other's view. We need to stay safe until we hear from our recon team."

"Okay," Vo said to me, " think We're ready to continue with our plan, and our general direction according to Lu's calculations is east."
I replied, "East it is." Then I turned the Garilu and east we headed. About 4 miles from our last location, we entered a large jungle clearing, filled with the vivid colors of Votan flora and with the sounds of wildlife. I slowed the Garilu as we surveyed the area with our eyes, our sensors, our external cameras, and our EGOs. Our scanners detected the remnants of a crash nearby in the forest, but I decided we should further check the clearing that we had entered first. So I stopped the Garilu and we focused on the clearing. As our external cameras swept around the clearing, I spotted some very faint humanoid footprints, so I moved the Garilu near them but far enough away that the airflow from the Garilu wouldn't disturb them. and stopped the Garilu.
Then as I stood up I said, "I am going to take a quick look. Vo keep the weapons ready, and Lady be prepared to get the Garilu out of here immediately."
Next I opened the compartment I had placed my gear in and removed the bio Surge Nano-Fragger I brought and loaded it. Then I opened the external door and stepped out. As I walked out I looked around the area as my EGO scanned for any threats. Then I walked the four or so feet to the prints I had seen and knelt by them. Then I proceeded to inspect them using my decades of tracking experience. It only took a minute or so to determine that they belonged to a female of Lena's measurements, the direction they were headed, and that they were several hours old. Then following the prints back a few feet the direction they seemed to be coming from, I found an area where she had obviously been laying in the clearing with slight traces of her blood, which wasn't really a surprise as she had been in a plane crash. At least it didn't seem to hamper her ability to get back to the wreckage and send a distress signal. So I stood and still surveying the area with my shotgun at the ready, I back-stepped to the Garilu and re-entered it, closing and securing the door behind me.
As I sat back down in my seat, I told Vo and Lady what little I could decern from the prints. Then I steered the Garilu slowly into the forest toward where sensors registered the wreckage. When we got to the wreckage, I stopped the Garilu again. Then I said, "Lady keep the Garilu running and it's weapons at the ready in case you detect a threat, and keep it scanning the area and the wreckage as well. Vo and I are going out to investigate the wreckage in person."
After Vo and I left the Garilu we went to the wreckage and started to search it. We looked around some of the miscellaneous plane wreckage for a couple of minutes until we located what was left of the cockpit. As we carefully entered it, we saw some more traces of Lena's blood in the broken glass on the floor of the cockpit and the radio still sitting there and on but the mic was broken off. Then we looked out the broken remains of the cockpit and noticed some very big footprints leading towards the wreckage and stopping just outside the cockpit. Then the same footprints turned and led away towards the southeast.
So I looked closer at our feet and the glass and found the now busted mic as I said, "Well it's quite obvious that whatever left those footprints busted the glass and a slight struggle ensued. It also looks like, as the mic is all Lena had at hand, she must have swung it at her intruder like a flail. We can probably assume that whatever it was got the better of Lena, despite her best attempts to thwart it. However given how resourceful she and Lestrange are, it is possible that one or both of them are still in the wreckage somewhere or left a clue as to where they may be headed, in hopes that we would arrive and find it. So Vo continue searching the wreckage and see what you can discover, but I think I better take a closer look at those huge footprints as they may reveal something as well."
So I left the cockpit with my shotgun in hand and went out to the odd footprints. Then I knelt to inspect the footprints while still keeping track of my surroundings. I was still kneeling there inspecting them when Vo finished his search of the cockpit and came to see if I found anything. As Vo approached I was still kneeling there closely inspecting the tracks for any changes in the two sets and any other information I could discern from them.
So without looking up, I pointed at the tracks in front of me and said, "The ones leaving are deeper than the ones that approached the cockpit so the creature was obviously carrying something when it left and given the shift in weight of the tracks I would say it's cargo would be roughly Lena's weight. So we will follow these tracks. We can set the Garilu's scanners to follow them like we did to follow Lena's that way we can continue to stay relatively safe inside it while we continue our search. The tracks are heading southeast from here, so further inland. Also look at them. If I am not mistaken, and I rarely am when it comes to tracking, I would say they appear to belong to some kind of huge insect. Now if we are done searching here, let's go back in the Garilu and contact Taffer with our findings."
After we re-entered the Garilu I grabbed the mic and contacted the Riot. "Come in Twin Sister. This is Shadow Warrior. Do you read?"
She responded with, "Loud and clear Shadow Warrior."
So I said , "Good. Put on Sneak Thief."
When Taffer finally got on mic, I said, "Taffer there are no signs of Lena or Marcel here, although Lena definitely did send her distress signal from here. However it looks like some kind of giant bug made off with Lena based on the signs and tracks we saw. They are several hours old and lead southeast, further inland. So I suggest my team follow them and see what we turn up. I am programming the Garilu's sensors to follow the prints now. That way we can continue tracking them as we speak. However as we know your location we can quickly turn around and go pick your team up or stop and set up a dark matter portal at our location if you need us to, before we find Lena and Lestrange. Now I am going to turn comms back over to Vo."
Then I said to Vo, "Vo did you find anything else that we need to know about while I was pre-occupied with my tracking?"
As I asked Vo that, I moved back into my pilot's seat and gave control of the comms back to Vo so he could inform both of our teams at the same time of his findings. Then I proceeded to drive the Garilu Southeast to continue tracking the insectoid prints, but ready to turn around and go back for Taffer's team or stop and set up a Dark Matter portal if needed.

Magnetic lock could not resist manipulations of Lena's nimble fingers and decided to give up, declaring unconditional capitulation by letting out plaintive sound. Door of the guest room opened and Lena and Marcel found themselves kneeling on the floor, Marcel still deeply inside of Lena. First thing they saw in the corridor was a pair of large black leather shoes about the size of a small boat. When they rose glances they noticed two big calves were covered with thick brown polyamide stockings and a long grey dress which reached way below wearer's knees.
Lena and Marcel lifted their eyes even more and spotted two huge palms, holding a tray with drinks. Above cocktail glasses was huge bosom, threatening to tear rough fabric of the dress apart. Dress was buttoned tightly to the neck and at the end of the button row was a cameo. When Lena and Marcel looked even more upwards they finally saw the face of the grey haired woman, looking them with unemotional eyes. Woman was smiling...or at least it had to be the smile because she revealed her teeth.
"I think that this is Doris," whispered Marcel. "She is holding cocktail tray and has a resemblance of a woman. Otherwise she is not doing a thing. Just stands there and stares at us and I do not like that. Any ideas, Honey Pot?"
"I have a screwdriver. One move and she is dead," suggested Lena, looking Doris with her beautiful unblinking eyes.
"Maybe later," said Marcel getting himself up from the floor and helping Lena gallantly up as well. Under Doris's gaze Lena rolled her lab coat down, and Marcel pulled his pants up. Still no reaction from Doris.
"Creepy," whispered Lena. "Why the hell she doesn't do anything?"
"Euthanasius said that Doris is a slow thinker, so maybe it takes some time before she realizes that something is wrong? I think that we will not remain here long enough to see her reaction," told Marcel. "Let us get out of here!"
They made a first step and only then they could see Doris move. But not towards them. Instead of trying to stop Lena and Marcel, Doris entered into the guest room, went slowly to the table and placed cocktail tray down. After that she turned around and started to move away from Lena and Marcel with steady pace without saying a single word or making any other noises than measured footsteps...
"What's that supposed to mean?" asked Lena. Her question was extremely logical, especially when compared with irrational behaviour of Doris. "Where is she going? And why the fuck she isn't trying to stop us?"
"I guess that Doris went to ask new set of instructions from the good Doctor," grinned Marcel. "She seems to be handling one situation at the time. Or follows her own logic. Or...To be honest, I am not sure what is going on in Doris's head, but since Doctor might want to use you as his test subject, we can not stay here to find out her motives. Let us take a chance to leave this place before Doctor realizes that poor Doris did something she should not had done. Again!" He took Lena's hand into his as they begun to move as well.
