New to the game and looking for RP

As Volodja said, welcome to the RPG Thorbjorn!

Not a lot of RP going on IN the Defiance game itself, as the chat system is not conducive to it! Come to think of it, in the three years of me being in the game, I saw only one person try to RP in chat, and nobody paid them any mind! I would RP in my mind while playing the game as I had Belle save ranchers and miners as she patrolled the highways of Paradise, and wrote stories and news bulletins on the Official Defiance Forums, then saw someone had started a RPG there. After a year of playing in that RPG, the remaining players there decided the censorship rules were too much, so one of our more technologically advanced players (more technologically advanced than me anyway) set up an unofficial RPG forum here, of which u found and which I think is the only one still running! 

To get yourself started in the RPG, just do a character description (usually based on your in-game character, but we have at least one player here who had never played the game, so not a prerequisite) and jump into the present story "Missing In Action."  If u need help getting into the story line, I'm sure some of us can help u with ideas! 

To get yourself started in the game, probably the best thing u can do is join a clan. Clan veterans can give you pointers, and r usually glad to do so! U didn't say what server u r on (I'm on PC/NA) but they all have good clans, and u usually can research them on the official Defiance Forums forums.defiance.com/
