Over the intercom I say, "Batty bring him back in I don't want him to get stuck in the engines and cause a clog. If he does your cleaning Tim's litter room tonight."

I look at lady, and the anger leaves my eyes. "Sorry My Love. Strap back in and I'll retrieve the fool." After Lady straps back in, I send Taffer another turbulence warning message, then I brace myself again and re-open the cargo door. As it opens I pull the tether to get him back in then close the hatch again. I quickly search him, and this time, gently strap him in, without shackling his hands, and say, "No flirting with her! Now thank her for insisting all passengers belong inside." I strap myself back in, and hold lady's hand. and look at her hoping for forgiveness, as just a few minutes later, Taffer and Chloe touch ground and slow the ship to a stop.

"Oh oh oh oh, staying alive, staying alive!" sounded in Volodja's head. Perhaps it was a glimpse of suppressed collective memory from pre war times? Who knows. As long it was synchronized with moves of his body, flapping in the air. And message was right - staying alive was all that mattered.
Finally they pulled him back inside. It was about time. Few more minutes and ...you know the rest.
Of course he thanked m'lady for getting rim off the rope, but still...He expected to be introduced to local manners and relationships first, instead of being thrown out right away. "They throw you out without proper introduction ceremony. I would had at least that much of politeness to say my name first and then throw people out. But I m not in position to make demands and create rules anyway. Especially after, I have seen how they Treat unexpected ship guests."

Lady squeezes tightly Atticus' huge hand with her small one, looking up at him with adoring eyes and beaming at him, then she put on her outlaw shades to regard the intruder strapped in across from her. Lady leans forward with an enigmatic smile, points one thin forefinger to her rather flat chested bosom and says as way of introduction just as the plane touches down, "Lady." Then she jerked a small alabaster thumb at Atticus and said, "Boyfriend."

"Thank you for finally TELLING me, how is current situation of relations aboard this little Love boat", said Volodja. "It would been much more likeable, if you have EXPLAINED things to me, using WORDS, but I got the point already, after you made physical example of me"
"Don't play with fire", ringedalarm bell inside his mind. "Keep a low profile, you fool."

Looking at the guy, I unstrap myself, then address him. "Next time do some research before stowing away. Since you didn't catch it earlier, I am 'The Harbinger of Death', Atticus Batman," I reach into an armor pocket and pull out one of my wanted posters, that was stamped with 'Pardoned', and hand it to him. "Now you are alive and in here, because MY Girlfriend, felt one shouldn't die in that way, and because our leader wants to question you, his way. Apparently not everyone approves of my way, based on that poster, however, as you can see I did eventually get pardoned. All your weapons have been removed, and you will continue to stay strapped in until we decide otherwise. If you agree to do so and keep your silver tongue away from Lady, then I will not secure your hands, rough you up anymore or kill you. That is unless I get the ok first this time.

Lady unstraps, stands up on tippy toes to get her large crime fighter shotgun from the overhead compartment, the sits back down in her seat to wait for Taffer, the huge shottie laying across her lap. She leans forward again towards the intruder, and with her Mona Lisa smile in place, jerks her small white thumb at Atticus again and says with enthusiasm, "AWESOME!"
She then pushes her red tinged white hair back behind her delicate ear with one hand and points at the intruder with the other, asking, "Name?"

Being tied up is not a bad situation to be in. Compared with other things, like being tossed out from a ship. First glance to manners of this crew makes Volodja wonder about questioning style of their leader, though. His vivid imagination starts to paint pictures of possible changes in his near future and they don't belong to the PG category. Harsh language (theirs), blood and gore (his) and what else life has him to offer? We will wait and see.
"Ok. You can tie me up and I will try behave. One flight outside of ship is enough for me."
"Your humble servant is called Volodja Uljanov, m'lady. And don't take it as I am making move on you. You, people, have tendency to act too fast on my most innocent remarks"

I walk over to a pack and pull out 2 canteens. I walk back and hand one to Volodja Uljanov. "Here, I am guessing you could use some water, after your flight outside."
I then open the other one and hand it to Lady, and retrieve and equip the rest of my guns.

Lady Christianna giggles melodically at Volodja Uljanov's remark, sounding much like that of a small child first discovering a butterfly, then says pointing at Atticus Batman, "Not your Lady, his Lady."
Lady sips pensively from the canteen Atticus gives her, then takes off her outlaw shades, putting them in her black leather coat pocket. Still thinking, she took out a small silver compact to check that her war paint was still fresh on her white face, afterwards regarding Volodja with intense pink eyes. Finally, she cannot contain her curiosity any longer, she spreads her thin arms wide in gesture and asks, "Why?"

"Thanks for the water, although after such tremendous introduction, I could use some brandy instead." Despite of his words, he takes canteen and drinks. "Cheers. That would have been a nice gesture to start with, but better late than never." "And her Ladyship shall be answered", he continues then. "I have a habit getting into situations like this one. Its either I stick my nose in myself to satisfy my curiosity and hunger for knowledge. Or I just happen to be somewhere quiet, and then the world rushes in. Either way - I will be in it and if I am lucky, then I don't have nightmares afterwards"
Volodja finishes off rest of that unfortunate H2O.

Taffer walked in, saying, "I've heard what you said Volodya, so you don't need to repeat it to me" (Volodja may notice he pronounced his name in a clean Russian manner). "My name's Taffer", he continued, "I'm the leader of this squad. What do you do with that knowledge you find? Do you sell it somewhere? Anyway, our flight is basically to test our ship and fetch some equipment, so I don't know what you can find to satisfy your curiosity with. You may as well put your nose out of our affairs, walk tho the closest city and pray you won't be caught in a razor rain on your way. Unless… unless we find the knowledge you collected useful somehow. Have you happened to know anything unusual about arktech — Ark Brains, Terraspheres, Progenotor cores and so on?"

Vo listened to what Casti woman said carefully. He pondered a little on what can be done in this situation and suddenly winked at her and playfully tapped Belles shoulder. "Oh no", he said in a feigned dismay, "I'm afraid the ship has just crashed and is in a very bad condition now. It could take a month before we'll be able to transport it back to the base and get it flying again!"

"Finally someone who introduces himself right away", said Volodja. "And since you are businesslike, than I can be too. Information I tend to gain, is mostly...let's say...useless. At least most humans or other races would not give a dead hellbug's leg for it. I just want to know, how we managed screw up our little planet. And how we still survive despite of everything. And I don't chase after scrip. So from your point of view I am as useless as that hellbug's leg, I was mentioning before. Seems to be long walk for good old Volodja to nearest town and so on. But I got nice ride inside of ship and outside too"
Last thing still made him shiver, to be honest. And perspective to have a nice long walk under razor rain was not very tempting. But he was reluctant to share any information, he possessed, with that big loving family of crew members, who started acquaintance by throwing their dear guests overboard without bothering to land their vessel first.
"At least I was not an invited guest" Volodja thought and grinned by himself.

Lady Christianna opened the cargo door and surveyed her surroundings, frowning as she noticed that the razor rain storm they had passed in the west was following them. One thing Lady had learned living in the wasteland and on the run all her life was that you always kept an eye on the weather, or you would pay the consequences. Those consequences were quite often death in her sixteen years of experience. "Danger stranger," Lady surmised out loud as she looked at the rusty brown clouds in the sky, then she turned and regarded Volodja with intense pink eyes, figuring his chances of survival if they let him loose in the wild. "Zip," Concluded the teenager, as she jutted out her thin lower lip shaking her pale head slowly, whereupon she turned her gaze from Volodja to Taffer, pointing with a thin chalk white forefinger first to the open cargo bay door and then to Volodja, stating as a matter-of-fact, "Dead man walking." Lady then picked up her black messenger bag, making sure to put the canteen Atticus had given her into it, checked her Crime Fighter shotgun to make sure it had a full magazine, put back on her outlaw shades and moved outside to watch for enemies as they disembarked.
