So Atticus Batman rolled down the window and said to her Passive-aggressively, "Can't drive with this bad body and had to walk all over base to find you, since you were not in the War-Room. So now I'm in even more pain, but at least I made it and am ready to go. So you or Jameson can drive. Now shouldn't we be going before those Raiders get any closer, Commander? We wouldn't want that would we." Erika Widowmaker frowned, thinking, "My Atticus has become, what do the humans call it, a grumpy Gus," But said out loud, "I'll drive Dear Brother." As the three women got seated in the Durango, Medic Joy Jameson offered to give him a shot for the pain, but withered under Atticus' glare and fell silent. Soon the blue pearl SUV tore out of Fortress Kshaa at a high rate of speed towards where they had been told a horde of shambling Raiders were approaching their home. Belle Starr had sat in back of Atticus and lightly touched his shoulder to get his attention then said in his ear in a low tone no one else could hear clearly. "Lady would be very proud that you came with us to defend your home - but then, Lady was always proud of you! She always loved you from the first time she met you - I could see it in her eyes - and never doubted you," Whispered Belle to Atticus, "Furthermore she knew the dangers of being a Protector and accepted them wholeheartedly if it meant she could be at you side! Wherever she is, I know she has no regrets as to either marrying you or fighting at your side!" After hearing any response Atticus might give, Belle sat back and became quiet, wishing she had been as worthy of Vo Kshaa's love. Instead, she had almost gotten him killed several times and this last time wiped his memories of her and his EGO's psyche almost completely. Even though she had not meant to do so, it was done by her EGO psyche's machinations as her father had never approved of her relationship with the Irathiant. She had not revealed to teh others that her EGO psyche based on her father's brain waves was to blame, for she knew that Taffer had wanted to wipe her EGO of the pesky psyche before, and Alfred was the only blood family other than her aunt, Sandy Bell, she had left, for her mother's psyche as an EGO died with Lady Christianna. Belle's mental reverie was broken when Erika remarked a she drove within fifty yards of the slow moving mob, "They're not normal Raiders, that is for sure. They walk like Afflicted, only faster, but they aren't them either. Some of them are firing weapons at us, and thank the Gods they are lousy shots, but Afflicted do not use guns - ever! That's... interesting. They seem to be following us now, away from Fortress Kshaa. Let us see if they continue to do so." Erika turned off road, hoping not to lead them to any other inhabited area, driving their vehicle to the back of the horde. Suddenly Erika saw a small white cloud in front of them that flashed with a sudden bright flare as she drove through it, blinding Erika causing her to lose control of the hurtling SUV. Erika thought she heard a high pitched girlish scream that sounded oddly familiar, but the question was lost as she felt the vehicle go suddenly down into a sink hole. The next few minutes were hectic as Erika and Belle helped Atticus and Joy, who had hit her head on the passenger door during the crash and was woozy from a bleeding head wound. They only had time to grab their weapons and Joy's med kit, scampering to firm ground before the Durango sank further into the sink hole then soon disappearing from sight. The foursome barely had a chance to catch their breaths and aim their weapons before the zombie mob was upon them. Joy lay on the ground firing her SMG into the the enemy throng as Erika stood straddling the medic firing her light machine gun, quickly losing sight of Atticus and Belle. She caught a quick glimpse of Belle dancing around with her charge blade, cutting a swath through the zombies, but then lost sight of her as many grasping hands pulled Erika to the ground, pummeling her with gun butts and rocks until she lost consciousness.

As the three women got seated in the Durango, Medic Joy Jameson offered to give me a shot for the pain, but withered under my glare and fell silent. Soon the blue pearl SUV tore out of Fortress Kshaa at a high rate of speed towards where we had been told a horde of shambling Raiders were approaching their home. Belle Starr had sat in back, behind me, and lightly touched my shoulder to get my attention then said in my ear in a low tone no one else could hear clearly.
Wherever she is, I know she has no regrets as to either marrying you or fighting at your side!"
I whispered back almost inaudibly, "I have ALWAYS loved her from first sight and always will....I just wish that it had been me that disappeared, NOT her. However if we must discuss her love for me and mine for her, and my failure to protect her and the others that died because of my many failures on that mission, then we can do so later when we are back at base. Now drop it until then!"
After hearing my response, Belle sat back and became quiet, lost in her own thoughts. While I stared out my window.
Belle's mental reverie was broken when Erika remarked as she drove within fifty yards of the slow moving mob, "They're not normal Raiders, that is for sure. They walk like Afflicted, only faster, but they aren't them either. Some of them are firing weapons at us, and thank the Gods they are lousy shots, but Afflicted do not use guns - ever! That's... interesting. They seem to be following us now, away from Fortress Kshaa. Let us see if they continue to do so."
Erika turned off road, hoping not to lead them to any other inhabited area, driving their vehicle to the back of the horde. The next few minutes were hectic as Erika and Belle helped me and Joy, who had hit her head on the passenger door during the crash and was woozy from a bleeding head wound. We only had time to grab their weapons and Joy's med kit, scampering to firm ground before the Durango sank further into the sink hole then soon disappearing from sight.
The foursome barely had a chance to catch our breaths and aim our weapons before the zombie mob was upon us. Joy lay on the ground firing her SMG into the enemy throng as Erika stood straddling the medic firing her light machine gun, quickly losing sight of me and Belle. She caught a quick glimpse of Belle dancing around with her charge blade, cutting a swath through the zombies, but then lost sight of her as many grasping hands pulled Erika to the ground, pummeling her with gun butts and rocks until she lost consciousness.
I had told Belle to leave me and do what she could to help the others for they needed help more than I did. Belle reluctantly agreed, but only after she had helped me to my feet. Then she started her bloody dance through the zombie horde, as I fired my shotgun at the zombies. After several shots, I realized that any who I had landed a brain-shot on, hit the ground and quit moving. So I yelled, "Go for the brains! Even these things seem to require them to 'live'!"
Then after a little while, as Belle continued her dance, I caught a glimpse of my sister just before some zombies pulled her to the ground and out of my sight again. So I holstered my bulky shotgun and switched to my sidearm so that I could walk with my cane while still firing my gun. Then I started to try working my way in the direction I had last seen Erika in as I continued shooting zombies, aiming for the brain as much as possible.
However as I shot one that had gotten too close to me, I misjudged it's angle and distance from me and it ended up collapsing directly in front of my path to my sister, as well as right in front of the other zombie creatures. So when it fell in front of a couple others trying to get to me, the others stumbled over and around it. However that meant that the ones that stumbled over it, tumbled and collided directly into me which caused my cane to get knocked back to the ground. Which of course meant that I followed it down shortly after, when a couple zombies took swipes at me and I twisted to avoid them and then twisted the other direction to avoid a bullet as one was shot at me. So after that final twist on my already unstable legs without my cane for support caused me to fall back, I hit the ground hard.
Then as my vision got fuzzy, my mind started to wander back a little and I recalled the scream I thought I had heard in the crash. So I thought to myself, "It sounded oddly like Lady's scream but it couldn't be because she is.....she is dead. There I finally admitted it to myself. I had caused her death in Australia and no matter how I wish otherwise, I can NEVER change that fact. Now my current inactions due to my physical and mental pain will cause some of my closest friends their lives, as well as my sister's and perhaps even mine. And although I know that I deserve whatever death I have coming my way, that would leave Lady's and my children orphans, which would mean I had not only failed Lady again, but I would have failed at what she trusted me most to do; always be there to look after and protect OUR children and therefor completely fail our children as well."
While at the same time I also had the realization that: "If I give into my instincts again and then once again regain control eventually, I will once again be left completely immobile like I had been last night after saving the girl from the Raiders, and it's always possible that this time the immobility could become permanent. However it will never matter how much pain I cause myself as long as I succeed in crushing the current enemy and saving MY family!"
Those thoughts alone made my blood boil even more with my barely suppressed rage and anger, and as my anger at myself and rage at the zombies for being the cause of my final failure: to Lady, OUR twins, My sister and the rest of OUR family; my vision started to blur even more as I gave in and surrendered completely to my beastly instincts yet again, knowing that this time there may be no coming back from it if I failed yet again. So as my pure rage-driven instincts took over and my body started to literally grow white-hot with that rage, I yelled, "NOT AGAIN! I WILL NOT FAIL LADY, OUR CHILDREN, MY SISTER OR OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY AGAIN!"
Then I was lost somewhere in my mind, having given completely into my instincts like I have been doing in my sleep for the last week; only THIS TIME it is a conscious decision made in the hope that it will be enough to save my sister and the rest of my friends and family that are in danger at the moment, zombies and those who stand in the way of my wrath be damned!
So when my instincts completely took over, I instinctively I grabbed my cane and unsheathed it's sword. Then I jumped to my feet, and with the sword in one hand and my Monitor sidearm in the other, I started extremely violently cutting a bloody path through the zombie horde, working my way to where my instincts were driving me to, Erika's side. Pain, and regrets currently lost completely to my instincts' drive to survive and protect those that I love and care about, while at the same time completely crushing the enemy.

Post by Belle Starr on Feb 19, 2017 17:03:19 GMT
Belle Starr had helped Atticus Batman out of the wrecked Durango before it disappeared into the sink hole, but then he had told Belle to leave him and do what she could to help the others. Belle reluctantly agreed, but only after she had helped him to his feet. Then she started her bloody dance through the zombie horde, as he fired his shotgun at the zombies. After several shots, he realized that any who he had landed a brain-shot on, hit the ground and quit moving. So Atticus yelled, "Go for the brains! Even these things seem to require them to 'live'!"
Belle began dancing the dance of the African Dervish, twirling and hopping with her charge blade cutting off heads of the zombies whenever possible, but if not aiming at their legs so that at least they could not remain upright. She checked her EGO radar, making for where it said Erika Widowmaker and Joy Jameson were, finding that they were already unconscious but still alive. In a cold anger, she reaching to the back of her neck with one hand, crushing the small mechanism inhibiting her EGO powers with hidden strength, then engaged her blur as she continued her dance of death around the two unconscious women. Atticus' pure rage-driven instincts took over and his body started to literally grow white-hot with that rage as he yelled, "NOT AGAIN! I WILL NOT FAIL LADY, OUR CHILDREN, MY SISTER OR OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY AGAIN!"
A large zombie Raider had just torn Belle's white silken scarf from her face, revealing the twin dark and cavernous holes where her eyes had once been, causing it to hesitate, perhaps because it thought it had found a kindred undead, which she felt might be true, or perhaps not, for when Atticus changed, the zombie mob to a man turned towards him. The zombie raiders shifted their attention from both Belle and the two helpless women to Atticus. Belle used the diversion to behead her assaulter with one swipe of her charge blade, then after she saw that the zombies had left the area around their two unconscious victims, she began to attack the flank of the mob with renewed vigor, switching from her glowing sword to her Big Boomer detonator makinging sure to keep both the ladies and Atticus out of the range of the explosions. However, she was so concerned with keeping the others safe from her detonator's charges, she miscalculated how close one was to her, and the explosion lifted her up into the air and landed her on the roof of the wrecked Durango far below the surface in the sink hole.
Belle shook her blonde head vigorously, shaking the dizziness out of her mind as her ears regained their ability to hear, and her EGO psyche Alfred chastised her as she once again heard the sounds of battle far above her, "You are endangering yourself needlessly Belle! You are Queen of the Volge now, call them to your aid!"
"I will NOT Father," Thought Belle with conviction, "For even if they answer, I don't know that they will stop killing once they have eliminated the zombie Raiders! They might just kill Atticus, Erika and Joy, and who knows how many others afterwards!"
"Balderdash!" Replied Alfred via the telepathic link they shared, "You can control the Volge if you concentrate, you are just afraid to try!"
"Maybe so, but I'm not willing to bet my friends' lives on it!" Asserted Belle.
Alfred became silent, thinking it not prudent to opine that he didn't think much of her friends above because Atticus and Erilka were Irathiant scum and because of the medic's timidity she was a poor specimen of humanity in his eyes. No, he thought to himself, he would just bide his time until he could slowly push Belle into accepting her manifest destiny. Meanwhile, Belle gauged the distance from her perch on the Durango to the surface above, and realized there was no way she could reach it without a rope. Her EGO however, revealed a tunnel to the left, so she was left to either wait for rescue or proceed that way, hoping it might open to the surface. To Belle, there was no choice while her friends might still be in danger, so she started down the tunnel, gratified that it did indeed slope upwards.

Post by Lena Marr on Feb 19, 2017 18:16:33 GMT
Lena Marr smiled happily as she lay nude next to the man she loved in the huge king size bed in the basement bedroom of their criminal hideout. She and Marcel Lestrange had made love all morning, and her sexual urges were satiated for the moment, so she watched him sleeping on his back as his muscled chest rose and fell leisurely. They had long lost their covers during their enthusiastic sexual romping, so she turned from her side to her back, preferring at the moment to continue watching both him and herself indirectly by the huge mirror handing above their bed. Lena had insisted that a mirror be hung there and Marcel had acquiesced without protest, which he usually did for her when it came to their sexcapades, for he always found her demands in such matters tended to make not only her happy but also himself. Lena looked at them both via the ceiling mirror, her shapely chalk white Castithan body a stark contrast to his tan muscular human one, and smiled wickedly, thinking, "We may not be a perfect match made in Heaven, but we are surely one made in Hell, in every way! Who would have thought that one of the only days I failed at an assassination would be the luckiest day in my life, and the best as that was the day when I was thrown into a jail cell next to the one and only Marcel Lestrange! I'm one damn lucky girl! Hope I can keep the luck going." "You will," Hope, her EGO psyche assured Lena telepathically, although the other voices in her head representing the seven deadly sins expressed doubt. Lena stretched her limbs like a cat, watching herself in the mirror as she stifled a yawn, staring with long lashed but unblinking sky blue eyes at her reflected image, assessing herself thinking, "As Castithan women go, I'm not bad looking. I'm no Lady Tarr or Aru Shondu, but I clean up well. Certainly better looking than most women of other races - well except maybe my arch enemy Belle Starr, but since she lost her eyes that may no longer be true. Shatko, it was her blue diamond eyes that were her best feature, although the whole package was pretty darn nice! I sure wouldn't kick her out of bed even now, if I didn't love Pooh Bear so much and know how he hates sharing. So now I'm a one-lover gal, and glad of it!" Lena rolled over to her side again staring directly at Marcel's rugged sleeping face, then with a wicked grin on her pretty alabaster face began to trace his jaw's line with one slender chalk white forefinger, thinking to herself, "But true to tell, your life Pooh Bear would be soooo boring without me! You complement me - but I complement you too! Two parts of the same diabolical duo - the happiest couple I know! Who says crime doesn't pay?" Marcel's steel grey eyes opened, his impassive expression not even hinting how he felt about her, but Lena took no offense, for that was his way. It was the times he looked at her when he didn't know she was watching that revealed to her how much he loved her, for his eyes then were adoring, as her eyes for him were always. As leader of their criminal organization, he had to show no weakness to those around them. She knew and accepted that, for she knew she was his greatest weakness, and would rather die than have that used against him. However, she was glad as second-in-command she was under no such constraints to hide the love she felt for him- and frankly, didn't think she could if she wanted to! As Marcel watched her, she put on a fake pout, complaining halfheartedly, "Pooh Bear, I'm bored! Why don't you tell me the prank you were going to play on old Wolfy. I mean, if his heart can stand rocking the sheets with Chloe MacGyver, I'm betting it can survive any shenanigans we can come up with," She rolled over on her stomach, her chin resting on his rock hard stomach as she played around his navel with one finger asking, "Why don't you tell me your plan? I bet it's a doozy!"

"Damn, something's wrong with infrared sensors," Vo muttered disappointedly as he looked through his new goggles at the group of raiders he and Lu was following on their way to Fortress Kshaa. "Vo, I really think it's not the right time for testing your new toy," Lu noted, "Don't you see their numbers are growing? We've got to do something before they attack!" "No, I don't see it, and that's the whole point because…" Vo stopped in mid-word as he turned he briefly turned his at his sister. "Wait, the sensor is working just fine when I look at you. Your body is warm. The engine is warm too. But those are as cold as the air outside! What the jek is going on?!" "Something that should never happen — that's what is going on," Lu said, "Look! They are making those follow them, away from the Fortress! Put away your glasses already and watch! Not sure it's the best idea to lure them away from where their security personnel can provide support, but I think we better follow!" Lu's Hellblazer followed the growing horde of reanimated bodies as they in their turn were following the blue Durango. For a moment Lu thought she heard a girlish scream, more like sounding inside her head rather than from outside, then almost immediately she heard Vo's voice, "They fell into a sinkhole! Hold on, we're going to help them!" "Wait, let me come out on top of that hill," Lu pointed to the left. "I'll cover you from there. My truck has a winch at its back; you can use it to pull the Durango out of the hole. But first we'll need to fend off that horde." As Vo did like Lu asked, driving the Hellblazer truck first to the top of the nearest hill and then flooring it towards the sinkhole Durango fell into, Lu left her Decoy sitting in the right seat of the truck while she jumped out of it and readied her Mass Cannon. She fired several rockets to fly above the heads of re-animated raiders, timing them so that they would explode in mid-air and rain down the bomblets in the middle of the crowd but away from frendlies. As the bomblets exploded, she looked through the scope of her rocket launcher at her friends who had already exited the sinking SUV and now were fighting for their life. She saw Erika standing firm at her feet shooting at enemies coming at her. There was something familiar with that pose and actions. Suddenly she was not at the wasteland of San Fran, but at the suburbs of Guadalajara where she saw a woman in command of her squad and shooting at hordes of humans attacking her defenses. To her dismay, she saw humans were winning, as although they were severely underequipped, they were coming in overwhelming numbers. Lu closed her eyes and shook her in disbelief as she was sure it was not how she remembered that fight was progressing. Now she was at San Fran again, and the attackers were not human soldiers but a mix of any bodies that could be found at the fields of former battles held on nearby locations. Erika was indeed unconscious but zombies were turning their attention to Atticus whose body was glowing white and Vo was closing in to two unconscious ladies, shooting the remaining undead with his Breacher. At the last second of her Decoy which was still sitting in her truck, Lu switched places with it and rushed out of the cabin to where Erika and Joy were located. "I can't find Belle anywhere!" Vo shouted as Lu appeared next to him, protecting him with the shield of her Pulverizer, "Just saw her for a second, and then BOOM! — and she disappeared!" "Go find her, I'll take care of Erika and Joy," Lu replied, "Check the sinkhole, she might have fallen there!" As Vo ran to the hole, Lu used her Pulverizer to disperse the remainder of undead that were still around unconscious Erika, and then connected Klimi to Erika's EGO to boost the healing process and start the reviving routine. "Just returning a favor," Lu said as Erik opened her eyes, "You saved many us, residents of Guadalajara back then during Pale Wars, now it's time for me to get you back to your feet."

"Funny that you mentioned bedtime activities," replied Marcel Lestrange while bending his arm so Lena could see how Marcel's muscles moved under his tan skin. Then he reached his hand out, grabbed wine bottle from the bedside table and poured some ruby coloured liquid into two glasses. "I was planning to begin our row of practical jokes on him from that area of life of his. Remember that tea incident not very long ago? That gave me an idea."
Marcel rolled over and now he was above Lena. He moved a bit and lowered his face close to Lena's so he could kiss her to show that he was not upset, although he was the one who accidentally drank that poisoned tea. When he released his lips he grinned and explained:
"I was thinking about spicing up Boche's sex life as a first step. Old man like him has probably problems with raising his flag and we are going to help him with the help of your effective and untraceable poison by putting a drop a day into his drink. You see, Honey Pot. We can not harm him without consequences. Instead of that we will buff him up and help him become a sexual predator, a real Duke of Fuckingham, so he can have time of his life.
As a consequence, he either:
Disappear from the picture for awhile to have a long lasting sexcapade.
Does something stupid when urges overwhelm him and ruins his reputation, or
Even if his sexual adventures might end fatally for him, he will have a happy ending. What a way to go!
Or he does not do anything aforementioned but something else.
Nobody can blame us anyway because we did not touch the old man even with our fingertip. No abducting, no direct attempts on his life will not be involved. And we can do it any time we want, so nobody will suspect us. If he survives our prank, it will distract him enough, giving us time to plan the next move. We just provide that old man with means but how he is going to use them, will be up to him. What do you think about the first innocent prank, Honey Pot? If you do not like it, we will figure out something new."

When I changed, the zombie mob to a man turned towards me. The zombie raiders shifted their attention from both Belle and the two helpless women to me. However I honestly didn't notice any of it except the zombies coming towards me: for with my hateful rage, vengeful spirit, violent tendencies, and kill or be killed instincts completely driving me, all that I focused on and even saw where any enemies that appeared to be a direct threat to me; and those people that my vengeful spirit was barely able to recognize as people to be avenged and therefor protected for the time-being. So I continued firing my charge-pistol and swinging my cane sword at just the right times out of pure instinct, while giving those not currently a threat to me a wide-birth to keep it that way. When the pistol ran dry, I automatically holstered it and kept fighting with the thin cane sword.
However at some point a zombified Bio-man had charged me and knocked the cane from my hand as he knocked me to the ground. As I wrestled with him I used the hidden blades in my armor's gauntlets to stab him repeatedly in his head until he stopped moving. Then I subconsciously shoved him off of me and got back onto my feet before leaping back into the fray and violently slaughtering all the zombies in my now circular path, to keep them from the others, as I sliced through the zombie horde with my hidden blades, driven by my unrelenting rage and unquenchable thirst For revenge against those that are attacking me and my allies.

"Just returning a favor," Lu Kshaa said as Erika Widwomaker opened her eyes, "You saved many us, residents of Guadalajara back then during Pale Wars, now it's time for me to get you back to your feet."
"Thank you. Guadalajara?" Replied Erika with a slight smile as she took Lu's proffered hand to stand up, "Now there's a name I haven't heard in years. If you were there during the Pale Wars, you had to be quite young, but we'll have to talk of that later for now we have a battle to win."
Once she had regained her balance, Erika picked up her LMG raking the zombie mob in support of Atticus' attack, saying calmly to Lu, "Please see Medic Jameson to safety. Not all of people are warriors - and the Gods be praised that they don't all have to be."

In a tunnel below the battle-site, Belle Starr was both heartened and made anxious hearing the continuing sounds of fighting above as she hurried forward. Suddenly she came to a fork splitting one tunnel into two and she stopped not sure of which way to go. Her EGO radar compensated for her lack of sight, so she wasn't surprised when a figure appeared next to her as if by magic, for the radar showed the new arrival as friend not foe, and she heard the telltale buzz and the ozone metallic small of a Volge teleportation.
Belle was no longer afraid of the Volge because of her strange ties to them that began when her father spliced her genes with those of several types of Volge while she was still in her mother's womb and more recently by their strange rituals that she went though in their underground lair, but she still remained wary of them. Still, she didn't resist when the Volge Trooper, smaller than most of her kind, took her delicate pale hand in his clawed one, leading her down the tunnel to her right toward a light she could not see but which she could only sense with her EGO when she was almost upon it.
Belle smiled as she felt the warmth of the sun on her beautiful freckled face, realizing that with her new sight limitations, she could have been wandering those tunnels for days, so gratefully said to the small Volge Trooper, "Thank you kindly!"
Belle's EGO radar only showed a vague humanoid shape which allowed her to fight, but not make out much detail, but it was enough to allow her to see the small Volge wave to her vigorously before disappearing in a teleportation beam, leaving Belle to think before blurring back to the battle, "That was odd behavior, even for a Volge!"
*****
Traveling away from the battle at breakneck speed, the small glowing cloud the Protector's Durango had driven through before falling into the sink hole acted like a frightened animal until it was distracted by a tiny plant struggling to grow in the shadow of one the giant grey stone spires that where everywhere in the transformed wasteland of San Francisco. The small cloud zipped from the withered plant to the stone spire and back again as if trying to find a solution to the problem that the plant was not getting enough light or water to survive. Suddenly the small cloud glowed brightly, and a spring arose near the plant sprouting from an underground stream far underground and quite a distance away. The small cloud glowed a second time, less brightly this time, and a circle glowed red in the rock spires face melting the stone until a perfectly round hole was formed through the rock allowing sunlight to hit the plant. The cloud glowed a third time, this time even more dimly, and the plant bloomed, soon surrounded by other flowering plants both native and Votan surrounding the new oasis.
The now transparent cloud bounced once as if approving it's own work, then slowly disappeared completely from sight.

Marcel Lestrange ended the exposition of his plan for Wolfram Von Eschen with a question or two, asking, "What do you think about the first innocent prank, Honey Pot? If you do not like it, we will figure out something new." A wicked grin crossed Lena Marr's pretty chalk white face as she replied, "I... LOVE it! It will be so much FUN!" Then a pensive look appeared in her long lashed sky blue eyes as she continued, "Super-Viagra! But we need to mix it with something that stimulates his libido as well - something that makes him emote like a fucking bunny rabbit!" Lena jumped out of bed, forgetting her nakedness at the moment, as she exclaimed excitedly as she headed to the elevator, "I KNOW I can make just the right formula that will make old Wolfy a sex machine without killing him. Making poisons and having sex are but two of my many skills, so combining the two abilities should make it easy to make Love Potion Number Mine. To the lab Pooh Bear!" As the elevator opened, Lena realized she was still nude, so rolling her unblinking eyes heavenward and putting a chalk white forefinger to the corner of her lush lips she struck a pose and remarked before heading into her clothes closet, "But I guess I better get dressed first!" "Hey Pooh Bear," Called out Lena's cheerful voice from inside her closet, "Once I make the Sex Serum, how we going to get the old codger to take it?"

In Ralph's small garden Sandy Bell and Volodja Uljanov examined row of ripe tomatoes, trying to figure out what caused them to grow so fast. Especially when they used to be small, green and in the verge of decaying. Nothing could explain that phenomena, unless one believes that miracles can happen. While they examined tomato plants, another phenomena occurred in the garden patch. Right in the middle of Ralph's well trimmed grass patch, soil begun to slightly erupt. Eruption increased and young woman and young man saw a small dirt mound rising.
"A mole?" asked Sandy Bell in disbelief. "Here in Paradise?" And she grabbed Ralph's pitchfork while Volodja took his sapper shovel, he used as a gardening tool, out and swung it couple of times.
It was not a mole. It was a Hellbug. A two feet high and three feet long. A golden Hellbug. Chris Robet's pet Hellbug, called Tim...the Hellbug. After popping out from it's tunnel, Tim run as fast as possible towards the garden entrance.
"Tim," said Volodja in soothing voice after they paid a millisecond lasting tribute to the horror movie cliché, called the false scare. "Who scared you, buddy?"
The answer was right there because earth continued erupting, dirt mound's size increased and Zombug skitterling who was after Tim, appeared. If you haven't already guessed what a Zombug is, then let us explain - the Zombug is a zombified Hellbug. Hundreds of Hellbugs get killed on a daily basis - they get shot, chopped or they are simply run over by some Ark hunter who doesn't even pay attention to that. And zombified Ark Hunters and Raiders took care of raising some Hellbugs from death as well, so they could join the party. There is never enough zombie animals in a good horror flicks, you know, and if there are, then they are usually zombie dogs (or cats when events occur in pet cemetery). Now the gap, caused by missing undead animals was filled by Zombugs and one of them managed to find it's way into the Fortress K'Shaa and attacked Tim who dug a tunnel to escape, forgetting that his enemy was used with the tunnel digging as well...
Speaking of cliché's...Sandy Bell would have made perfect first victim. She was pretty, she was blonde and she wore her tiny tank top and cut jean shorts. But she was also a trained soldier who already had one major Hellbug attack experience. Instead of trying to run away screaming, she squeezed her pitchfork harder and nailed Zombug to the ground with one strong blow. Volodja Uljanov jumped closer and hit the Zombug into with his sapper shovel without hesitation.
"Strange," he said. "I know how unintelligent it sounds, but I assume that something weird is going on right now. First tomatoes. Now this killer bug attacks Tim. What might happen next? Attack of the Killer Tomatoes perhaps?"

By the time Belle Starr blurred back to the battleground the fighting was over. Erika Widowmaker was standing looking at the devastation with her still smoking machine gun in hand. Atticus Batman was still hacking at zombies on the ground that showed any sign of movement. Lu Kshaa was helping Joy Jameson to her feet. Although technically blind now, Belle was able to locate all of them through her EGO's radar as well as see that all the zombies were destroyed. However, there was one blip on her radar that her attention focused on, and that was Vo Kshaa's.
No matter what Belle told herself, no matter how she rationalized why she left him, no matter the fact that she truly thought she was protecting him from her Volge legacy, she knew deep in her heart that she still loved him and would always love him until the end of time, so she blurred up to where he stood by the sink hole wherein she had fallen and Atticus' Durango still sat, saying shyly with a sad smile, "Hi Vo!"
Belle shielded her empty eye holes with one hand, embarrassed to have him see her that way as she hung her charge blade on her belt asking sincerely, "Are you... doing okay? Have you got your memories... back?"
A red blush went up Belle's swan like neck as she remembered that it was her fault that he lost them in the first place, and that Shirra, his EGO psyche was reset as well, when she told him to forget her and her out of control mind powers made it reality. Since the power was focused through her eyes, she had burned them out after she realized what she had done, but she still wondered if the powers were out of control, or whether she was just her being manipulated yet again by her father Alfred who was her EGO psyche. She felt it didn't matter now, for she would always protect him for he was her father, or what she had left of him, and assumed that ending her eyesight had ended his potential to use her mind control powers. Or at least - hoped it was so!

"Mmmm," said Marcel Lestrange, kissing Lena again. Then he released his lips once more and said, taking wine glass into his hand and having a sip before raising glass to Lena's lush lips so she could have her fair share. "If I was....well, Uljanov, then I would say "In Vino Veritas" or something equally meaningless...Just a second! Actually there is a truth in wine but not in the way they meant it. We both know what that Boche Doctor likes to do. He likes to dunk his tongue into the glass of alcohol. Usually it is his own creation. But since he is almost only customer of himself then spicing up his booze would be way too..obvious if someone gets suspicious...If they get suspicious, which I doubt. But if they do, then they probably figure out that Boche is the target because nobody else dares to taste his brand, so we need a bit different approach. What else he is drinking?" Marcel thought about it and he exclaimed: "Boche likes to drink brandy! Lot of them like to drink brandy, so if they become suspicious then they can not be sure who was the real target. Our only problem will be the fact that lot of them like to drink brandy, so we must find a way to keep their greedy paws of the spiced up baby bottle, meant for that old goat! Am I correct, Honey pot? You may always correct me if I am wrong and improve my ideas. I am not mind."

Vo was still straining his eyes trying to see any traces of Belle in the sinkhole when Shirra informed him that she located Belle's EGO above the ground and that she was coming fast towards him.
Belle blurred up to where he stood by the sink hole wherein she had fallen and Atticus' Durango still sat, saying shyly with a sad smile, "Hi Vo!"
She shielded her empty eye holes with one hand, embarrassed to have him see her that way as she hung her charge blade on her belt asking sincerely, "Are you... doing okay? Have you got your memories... back?"
Vo could not help but smile and take a step forward as he turned to Belle when he heard her melodic voice. Part of him wanted to tell her that everything is fine and pretend that nothing had happened to him at all but he knew he could not lie to her.
"They are coming back indeed. Slowly. Much slower than I want them to. But every day I still recall something new about our time together which I didn't remember before. Taffer and Em Dash did a great job with restoring Shirra's memory too. Nevertheless, there's one thing I wasn't sure of until now, but when I heard your voice it became clear for me as day — I love you Belle. No one can take it from me. Well, at least not for a long time."
Seeing that Belle was still covering her eye holes with her hand, Vo pulled out the goggles he had made for her.
"By the way, I think I have something which will help you free your hands," He said as he took her other hand and put the goggles into it. "These goggles can connect to your EGO and transfer the image from their cameras. I've made them myself so that I'd be sure they are harmless and cannot be manipulated from outside. With some very useful tips from Taffer and Eren of course, but the final assembly is fully by me. They are a little bulky, but that's the smallest case I could use to fit all the cameras I wanted. Taffer expressed some concern that the damaged nerves may not provide any image even if simulated by EGO, but I think that if you can see the radar and map, then image from the cameras will work too. In the worst case, they can serve as reading glasses if Alfred could see and read text for you through them."
Vo went silent for a second, and then suddenly remarked, "Alfred. Now I remember your father's name. Isn't it great? Oh, and haven't I told you yet you'll be able to see in infrared and ultraviolet spectrum too? Have you ever seen flowers in ultraviolet? It's a fantastic sight I must say! You can try them on right now, although… I'm afraid it's not a pleasant sight to see here with all the bodies around. Although I think we'll have to examine them to investigate what happened to them and who or what forced them to attack us."

By the time Belle Starr blurred back to the battleground the fighting was over. Erika Widowmaker was standing looking at the devastation with her still smoking machine gun in hand. I was still hacking at zombies on the ground that showed any sign of movement. Lu Kshaa was helping Joy Jameson to her feet. Although technically blind now, Belle was able to locate all of them through her EGO's radar as well as see that all the zombies were destroyed. However, there was one blip on her radar that her attention focused on, and that was Vo Kshaa's.
Not aware of what the others were doing I continued to instinctively hack at any zombies that even so much as twitched. However once my instincts informed me that they were no longer a threat I looked around, and even in my instinct and rage-driven haze, it was obvious that nobody in the area was a current threat to my survival. So I turned and started walking towards where my instincts were driving me, back towards Fortress K'shaa to protect my offspring.
Whether somebody was trying to get my attention or not, I wouldn't be able to say later for right in this moment my instinctual beast was in control and that wild part of me only knew and cared about certain things such as: Self-survival including hunger and thirst, destroying any potential threat with the fighting skills that had been long ingrained into my very being, protecting my life-mate (had she still been here) and now protecting and caring for our children. So to their side I was instinctively driven to go, now that the threat was gone and I could not sense any other at the moment. Heaven help those who stand between me and my young ones!
However as I started walking towards the fortress, my rage started dissipating with nothing else currently fueling it more than usual, other than my own extreme self-hatred as of late. So when I was roughly 30 feet from the others, I started coming back around as I continued to walk. When I was now back enough to remember where I was when I gave into my rage and instincts, I slowed down as I once again looked around the battlefield. Then I asked my EGO psyche, Dinara, "Are the others alright? I didn't hurt any of them this time did I?! Please tell me I didn't hurt or kill any more of my family!!"
Dinara said calmly, "They are fine Atty! You didn't harm them! You did everything that you could to protect them and stopped when the threat was over!"
Confused,I responded with, "Then where the dak am I going?!"
To which she said, "Given the direction we were headed, I would suspect home. Although I don't know why. I am an EGO, NOT a mind reader!...but perhaps your instinct was to check on your children once the creatures were stopped?"
I responded with, "Alright. In that case I better get back to the others so that we can get the Durango out of the......."
Just then I felt the pain suddenly come rushing back and yelled in agonizing pain, as I fell to my knees. Once again unable to bear the pain enough to walk, let alone stand without aid. I yelled in agonizing pain loud enough to wake the dead, however Dinara still did her job as my EGO (Environmental Guardian Online) by contacting my sister's EGO psyche, and Dinara's girlfriend, "Amber Baby! Love ya, but can't talk right now! Puhlease patch me into your mother!"
After Erika's EGO psyche, Amber, said she had done so, Dinara said, "Miss Widowmaker! Erika! Atty needs your help! Puhlease!.......This time he finally regained control of himself after his instinctual side no longer sensed any threats and started calming down......However with him once again being in conscious control, the pain returned big time and his cane is....well it is in two pieces, the cane and the removed sword, somewhere on the battlefield. Of course as we know from this morning, the pain will be way to unbearable for him to be able to stand at all for a little while, before it lessens enough for him to at least stand with the help of his cane!...If it lessens enough this time, as he seems to be in even more pain than he was this morning!----I really hate seeing him like this, but there is nothing I can do except give him drugs for the pain, which we both know he would NEVER EVER accept given that he is still certain he deserves to suffer! I am just glad that he has you and the twins to help keep him grounded, and keep him going instead of...of...well you know what he really thinks he deserves and would have tried doing himself if it hadn't been for you and the little cuties, and his hope that Lady will one day return, giving him the drive to keep living despite how he feels about himself these days!"

As Vo Kshaa professed his love for her, Belle Starr became quiet, her rose petal lips pursing becoming a thin line. Her heart screamed at her to tell him she felt the same, that he would always her one true love, but her brain insisted that she would be the death of him if they remained together as a couple. The best thing she could do she reasoned was to not lead him on that they had a future together as anything but friends. She accepted the googles and donned them immediately, marveling at the distinct images she could see now as opposed to the hazy figures she had seen just using her EGO, but also grateful for the change in subject.
Smiling warmly, Belle exclaimed as she looked around her as if seeing everything there for the first time, which in a way she was, "These goggles are... marvelous! Thank you so much Vo!"
Belle moved forward with outstretched arms to hug him but stopped on a dime, reminding herself that if he didn't protect himself from her deadly legacy, she would have to for him, so she hugged herself instead as if she had gotten a sudden chill, which in a way she had.
Belle visibly winced at Vo's mentioning of her father's name. for Alfred had never liked the fact that Vo was merely a mechanic in his eyes and more importantly to him, an Irathiant, but she quickly immersed herself in the task at hand, "These bodies look like they have been dead for a long time - much longer than just from minutes ago! And look - some are almost skeletal, like they were dead and subject to the elements for weeks if not months! Something very strange is going on here!"
As Belle and Vo continued their investigation, Belle suddenly turned to him and confessed, "Not all your memories of me will be good ones! I truly hope you never remember your time and what happened in the Mistress of Judgement's glass coffin because of me, or the memories we shared of what happened to me in my first ark fall, or especially what lies under the old tree with the cross carved on it on the bluff above the Bug N' Chug!"
